  3. Yeah it's really the combo that makes it. Damn the things I'd do to have been able to see that live
  4. Best Coldplay openers in order Square One Politik AHFOD MX Even though Politik is the best song of those imo, Square One is an insane opener

  8. Yup lol I keep wanting to blast Magic every time it comes on, but it sounds like the speakers are about to explode. Goddamnit Guy and Will
  9. I'm right there with you-I Became a huge fan right after they were announced as the Super Bowl act, as I tried to figure out what people hated about Coldplay so much. I can't wait to actually experience the whole album release process as a big fan now. The wait sucks, but at least we have this message board and a whole lot of material on YouTube to watch!
  10. Any chance we get something for the VLV 10th anniversary? I guess I'll answer that actually- No. Also, although AROBTTH will always be my favorite album, I think VLV is easily their best album from beginning to end. It's the only album where I like every song on the album. Chinese Sleep Chant is super underrated. Even Yes is a good song. Every song is good on there. It's just that VLV doesn't have Clocks, The Scientist, Daylight, Warning Sign and Politik on it;)
  11. Today I've learned that the Dunkin Donuts down the road from me consistently doesn't know how to properly make an Iced Caramel Latte.
  12. Well if there is a trailer "floating" around, surely it can land at coldplaying.com :p
  13. For Rock I Would go -Square One -God Put a Smile Upon Your Face -Violet Hill -White Shadows -A Whisper -Major Minus -Talk -1.36 -One I Love -Cemeteries of London -Low -Chinese Sleep Chant
  14. Acoustic: -Don't Panic -Oceans -Postcards from Far Away -Sparks -Us Against the World -For You -U.F.O. -Prospekt's March -Parachutes -See You Soon -We Never Change -Green Eyes -Til Kingdom Come -Fly On
  15. I was really optimistic when I first heard AOAL, and then started listening to the album when it came out and heard AHFOD and Birds. The rest of the album did not live up to the first 2 songs and the direction I thought it would go. I now have no interest listening to any song after AHFOD and Birds anymore.
  16. Just curious, do you have inside information or are you speculating based on what's out there? Because my guess would be just because they don't tour for at least 2-3 more years doesn't mean the band will be silent and won't release music.
  17. Apparently he has had health issues in the past involving alcohol. Most likely has something to do with alcohol/drugs/suicide. Really really sad, whatever it was, that he couldn't get the help he needed from the right people.
  18. Considering how much he worked with Chris and the rest of the band, I figured this is deserving of its own thread. He has created and produced so many songs that I have grown up with throughout high school and college. The Nights, Wake Me Up, Levels are some songs that have a special place in my heart. He also produced ASFOS and HFTW. He was an incredibly talented producer and artist, and was one of the faces of the EDM movement. Rest in peace, Avicii. It's heartbreaking how early in his bright life he was taken. "One day you'll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember."
  19. Hurts Like Heaven
  20. 7/10 I like the vibe of the song. Def a very Coldplay feel.
  21. Always thought Brothers and Sisters was a sh*ier version of Shiver. And Gravity is diet version of The Scientist UFO and See You Soon
  22. Nice! Your turn. BTW the song Just Breathe on that same album with Speed of Sound from PJ is one of my favorite songs ever.
  23. That was quick! But nope lol
  24. -An artist who has performed with Chris has a song with the same title -It has been played live in various ways -It is heavily inspired by another British artist
  25. 6/10 Certainly not my type of music but it has some catchy qualities to it
