It's so sad for a new fan like me who only really got into them with AHFOD to see that small but cool things like the Christmas messages, the Oracle, etc gone. It makes me feel like I lost all the awesome "for the fans" stuff. :( On a similar note, and sorry for sounding entitled, but for this periods in particular where things get really quiet for the band I would love for them to have a social media presence outside of the Coldplay accounts as in individual accounts. I understand why they don't have and respect their decison since in the end it's only up to them, but I really think it would relieve the "pain" of waiting so long to hear from them again. I'm sorry again for the entitlement but I can help thinking about it at times...

That Everything's Not Lost is everything. Hearing people singing along with Will and the great climatic part at the end with the instrumentation is just perfect. It's simple but effective like it should be! Those were found by I Ran Away I believe. I remember asking her if she had Will's vocals but unfortunely she didn't have them :(

It's funny that you talk about Rihanna, reminds me of something that I read somewhere and it said that originally, Princess Of China was supossed to be a duet between Chris and Will before Rihanna came in. Imagine what it could be! Although since the song is about a straight couple it was probably a good call to get a female singer. However it be pretty cool to see an actual duet with Chris and Will in the next LP(or EP for that matter)! I had NO IDEA that it was Will doing back vocals in Magic! :eek: I though it was just Chris's voice layering. What an awsome idea on their part! Fly On...the perfect way to end Ghost Story all around. It pretty cool seeing Will using his guitar skills on a full song! Wow it's so refreshing listenning to Fix You on a normal piano. Great accoustic version, although I can't hear Jonny's vocals on that recording :oops:

Yep fui eu que comprei. Pois é foi pena não ter esperado :( Já se sabe como é com sleeves de cartão... não é o mesmo que ter em plástico. Mas tendo isso em conta, ele vem com os booklets dos dois álbuns e em termos de som ainda não ouvi Viva La Vida mas o Prospekt's March está com uma boa qualidade de som na minha opinião. Honestamente por 5€ acho que não tens muito a perder.

So guys thoughs on the In My Place versions from the Butterfly Package? I already talked about it on another thread but it's so great to have high quality vocals from Will! Also I loved the way it was shot and hearing the crowd singing with him just warms my heart :heart: Here's the audio from the Buenos Aires for those who haven't heard it!

Sooo about this, since I studied and worked on School projects all day I decided to take the night off to see Live in São Paulo. I got to admit the editing didn't brother me as much as I was expecting and got used to it pretty quick. It's a shame that it isn't in HD but either way the colors pop and overall the movie makes me want to go to a Coldplay concert so bad! Now, the elephant in the room, or better (much better actually) the Will Champion... [spoiler=Warning: fanboy rant incoming]OMG Will's vocals are INCREDIBLE! The long shots in UATW, the crowd singing togheter and the last note... Just wow :heart_eyes:I can only say THANK YOU Mat for capturing such an amazing moment so well it means a lot to me. Chris, you better let Will sing at my concert! It's your debt for not coming here this tour!

OMG the anticipation! Like I will get the butterfly package tomorrow but I'll probably only have time to watch the concert after I have done all the tests and college projects which will only be in two weeks. I didn't want to skip tracks but I want to hear Will's vocals so bad :sob:

The stills of the concert that Mat is sharing through Instagram are some of the best shots of any Coldplay recording. To bad they will probably be butchered with the editing :(

For me, half of this EP works and the other part doesn't. Timbuktu is the best part of the whole think for me, I love how funky this song is with Jonny rocking with his guitar riffs and Chris vocoder fits really well here. Rise up is not to shabby either especially considering that it's Stargate only! E-lo I can't seem to get into even after multiple listens. Voodoo though...geez what happened here? Everything dosen't seem to work here,from lyrics to vocals and the generic production of David Guetta. I wonder what this song was pre-Los Unidades.

The editing in this reminds me of certain action movies that ruin perfectly fine fight scenes with awful editing. I think if they had longer and wider shots it would show the scope of the tour a lot better. It's a shame because the AHFOD film showed the same perfomance so much better.

While I still believe that a lot of the pop sound of AHFOD came from Chris and Stargate I agree with most of this. Oldplay sound will most probably never come back like back then(AICTAIY being the closest to that) and I think that's a irrealistic thing to think. My only problem with this was the way it was announced. If they said before releasing the song what it would be about I think there wouldn't be as much hate. If there's anything to take from this is how expectations play with us.

And let's not forget that this envolves a lot of collaborations so it probably wouldn't work outside of Global Citizen. I'm starting to think that this really isn't as big of a deal as Parlophone made it seem. At least when it comes to Coldplay's future.

True but if they just said previously that this is more of a Chris thing than Coldplay people wouldn't be so dissapointed. I mean, how much influence did Will,Jonny or Guy have in this?

Yeah that's very true unfortunally. Altough I don't think is that bad in UATW. Someone Special is still the biggest offender for me. Not only was Will's vocals almost not hearable, but also Jonny's great guitar lines! But to be honest the Kaleidoscope EP had bad mixing overall. Good find! That perfomance is incredible on all parts.The boys did a fantastic job, they really seemed to really be into it! Too bad the sound quality isn't very good. :( If anyone has a clear recording of the perfomance and wouldn't mind share it would be very much appreciated :innocent:

Didn't even know that it was available here in Portugal! I got it of Amazon.es and they offered free shipping. Maybe it's cheaper that way.
