It's not about that. It's about something that happened a really, really long time ago. A total car crash. It's about someone who is asleep somewhere and still haunts someones dreams. Perhaps it's even about someone waking up and meeting someone again. Who can say. Well I think one of the wonderful things about the time in the world is that there are so many ways to communicate. The trouble is that not everyone does all the different ways that you can do things. How could you! So there can be a disconnect where there are just pools of communication... ...and people can get lost in a sea of static... but maybe people can still find a way to talk! I've actually listened to a lot of songs on YouTube but there are so many and people are recommending ones I've never found and they are often ones I like much more than some of the stuff I've found! I want to find those hidden gems like you say! love Freya

There are two music videos for trouble, presumably the animated one that is perhaps more well known was made much later as it would appear to depict events that took place much later than whenever trouble was recorded or originally released... Does anyone know when the animated music video was made? love Freya

I stepped into a small park in London yesterday and saw a Dandelion Clock and suddenly realised why this is on the cover of Yellow. I guess because Dandelions are yellow until they become Dandelion Clocks and get blown away by the wind or someone or something like that... It didn't click until I saw it in real life in the park. love Freya

My band is called "Royal Victoria Yacht Club" My first album is called: Chipsi mayai and has a heavy influence from the music and food of Tanzania in East Africa. The first single is called: In Iron Years and has a kind of sci-fi influenced sound. Brian Eno is the producer and the first album was recorded in a town near Morden, where the shadows lie, at the bottom of the Northern line.

I just found this song by ... Ironically I really like it, even if it isn't about that much. I think it's a really beautiful song. Anyway I wondered if anyone can recommend any other really obscure coldplay songs that I might not have heard. love Freya

Yellow is also a hitchhikers guide reference. A long time ago there was a girl and Chris Martin asked what her favourite colour was and she said it was Yellow and then they talked about the Hitchhikers books. Yellow is the colour of the bulldozer of course. ;) I'd be surprised if hadn't read the book or watched the TV series by now but maybe he hasn't...

I actually like Vinyl! I used to have a big record collection before I was driven out of my house in Leeds, when I lost it all. There is something about vinyl. It's like a tea ceremony or something, the whole thing of putting the record on the turntable and dropping the needle and the surface noise on the lead in. Beautiful! I only got a CD of parachutes a few months back so I'm about 19 years too late or something! I didn't listen to Coldplay for a long time because I felt sad and it made me cry so I was missing out. Now I have the first 3 CD's. I want a copy of Ghost Stories as I really like that album but I don't have it yet. I'm new here so thanks for the likes folks! :) love Freya

I mangaged to start listening to the head full of dreams podcast first and they absolutely hate it! This made me smile. I actually really love the end of Birds, it reminds me of Jonathan Richman although I can see it might upset people if they are caught up in it in a serious way but it made me laugh because it fits in with Mr Martins sense of humour.

I have this disturbing idea that in this age of electronic communication, people don't read their post. It could be that everyone has mail and nobody has checked for so long nobody would believe. There is still something beautiful about paper.
