  1. As if Coldplay hasn't taken a drum beat or two (I Ran Away, Speed of Sound...) I don't think it's such a bad deal to steal a drum beat, but a melody line or chords or lyrics...well that's different. Not to say I think she's a good artist.... ;)
  2. oooooo :) New song! Awesome!
  3. 'Till Kingdom Come?
  4. Remember though that they tune the piano a bit differently...just enough so you can't play along with it but it still sounds fine.
  5. Hey, i dont necessarily think this is such a bad idea. I wouldn't mind an album full of songs like "Till Kingdom Come." Just give it a chance, if it does happen.
  6. Great job on the translation! You will do well on your final exam.
  7. I think he wrote "What If" for Apple.
  8. Okay, well if there IS a 4th single...it needs to be one of the really upbeat tracks. Either White Shadows or Low.
  9. I liked the Mexico City version of Pour Me with the massive keyboard solo. That would have sounded unbelievable in studio.
  10. Pour Me really wasn't that bad.....until the screaming. Ahhh, it grates on my nerves when I hear it!!
  11. yea, not to be a Coldplay-hater...but these B-sides werent really that good. Nothing close to some of the ones we got on AROBTTH singles.
  12. It's kinda weird, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this...but Coldplay tends to "reference" other songs during a song. Like, for example, in "A Whisper" Chris keeps singing, "I hear the sound of ticking clocks..." And in Clocks he talks about "Trouble that can't be named." I dont know if anyone has ever noticed this before, maybe its just a dumb coicidence but this new B-side seems to support the "theory."
  13. That reminds me of "Anchorman" with the timeless Will Ferell. "YOU CAN SHARE MY OFFICE AND LATER WE CAN GO OUT TO LUNCH." "Lower your voice, Ron."
  14. I really have to hand it to the people of Texas. They're going to accomodate 150,000+ hurricane victims staying there while this is all sorted out. That's a huge amount of people.
  15. Good lord, blame the entire weather disaster on one person. Look, I don't like GWB either. But its not his fault this happened. How is it his fault that some people got stuck on the interstate? I understand your argument about the low-income people getting shafted. It happens too much in America, I agree. But it's not one person's fault. Not even close..
  16. I love the way the guitar has that "crashing" sound...it sounds amazing!
  17. I've got to say, on DBTT, the last track is pretty awesome even though it doesn't really have lyrics till the end.
  18. Someone mislabeling the song. Not necessarily the person who posted it here, probably someone before him.
  19. .

    good job
  20. My god. Ok. Any reviewer who would rate Hollaback Girl higher than ANYTHING Coldplay has ever done needs to be shot, seriously. She had an okay band before, but decides to go solo with a song that spells Bananas......B A N A N A S. Urgh! It's the worst song I've ever heard....it's so....god-awful.
  21. They never played The Hardest Part, I don't believe...
  22. Okay, no more lawn seats for a concert. EVER. I'm coughing up whatever it takes to be closer. I was way too far out.
  23. :/ Looks to be almost the exact same setlist every show.
