Okay... I've had my first ever Chris Martin dream. I dreamed about Chris Martin.. this is too weird/funny. Well all I remember is.. I was sitting in some kind of classroom Chris is our teacher for the day. Not sure what kinda class it was.. I think it was Driver's Education, which is a class you take in certain states in the USA. Anyways the entire class was writing some kind of page-long report and I was the last one to finish. On my way out Chris goes "hey hey.. stay for a minute.." for no apparent reason other than to just keep him company. I was pretty silent most of the time until this awkward silence just filled the room n' eventually I went "....hey mind if i ask you a question or two?" He does that smile of his and says sure.. The first thing I ask is "Do you ever play your electric when you perform Talk live?" which is something I really want to know and he goes into some technical explanation about why he doesn't... then I went on about seeing them in september n' he just went on about touring in the U.S. and mentions something about playing swallowed in the sea live.. Yeah then he turns into a dog and we run around through a forest that resembles the scientist video. The End.

If you haven't seen the song performed live you have no idea what you're talking about. I don't "hate" songs.. so I didn't hate the song at first. It just never caught on to me and I couldn't really feel anything while listening to it. In part yeah its cause of the rhyming and his singing.. but once I saw it live on the acoustic japanese performance video.. blew me away. His expressions/emotion through the entire song really made me FEEL for the song and the words certainly meant something once I saw him saying them. Try it out, if you can find the video at least.

well since theres nobody uploading.. can anyone describe talk live? chris was on one of his guitars right? i've always thought of talk live along the lines of GPASUYF... where they just lose it during the last minutes of the song and bring the house down.

Was watching the 2003 dvd. Struck me: Chris playing See You Soon on the piano. Anyone else think it'd be something? Or a piano version of Shiver?

I was actually hesitant on posting it but to be honest I really thought out that set.. thanks btw, as you can see I've only been a member of this forum for a bit but yeah I am a big fan. If you really look into it.. I was really picky about having too many songs in a row from the old albums. Then I thought well you can balance it out by playing one of the rockers from the new album (i.e. playing white shadows after three rush of blood tracks in a row). Then I thought of how annoying it'd be for chris to have to go back and forth between guitar/piano so had to accomodate that. THEN I thought the new album is what this tour is for in the first place so made sure there were A LOT of songs from the new album being played. 10/11 out of the 13 album tracks so you know how good the newest album is. Lots of thought and nitpicking.. thats all it is. aka genius? hahhaha

i'll be honest, the setlist currently being played is really.. lackofabetterword..rather "weak". Not that the songs are weak but its possibly just the arrangement thats throwing me off. Yeah it is. Also the fact that its missing way too many songs off the new album. btw I was really really bored watching my 2003 dvd.. so i made a 'dream' setlist with a pink highlighter and an envelope. 2005 setlist 1- Square One/Politik (really consider it one song live y'know?) 2- GPASUYF 3- What If 4- Low 5- Trouble (or Shiver?) 6- Speed Of Sound 7- Everythings Not Lost 8- Hardest Part (or Swallowed In The Sea?) 9- X & Y (or Twisted Logic perhaps? hah.) 10- Daylight (I love this song.) 11- In My Place 12- The Scientist 13- White Shadows ENCORE 14- Clocks 15- Yellow 16- A Message 17/18- Fix You 17/18- Talk (I actually would like em' to go out with a rocker )
