Glenn Roeder Resigns from Newcastle Sky Sports News understands that Glenn Roeder has resigned from his position as Newcastle manager with immediate effect. Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd called an emergency meeting on Sunday to discuss the club's disappointing season, as talk of Roeder's possible exit intensified. In the aftermath of the meeting, sources close to the club have informed Sky Sports News that Roeder has indeed handed in his notice. A 2-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers at St James' Park on Sunday was greeted by a crescendo of boos and calls for Roeder's head, as a disgruntled home crowd made their feelings clear. Newcastle have been hampered all season by a succession of injuries to key men, most noticeably Michael Owen, but their 13th place in the Premiership has clearly not sat well with the club's board. Sam Allardyce's recent departure from Bolton will do nothing to quell talk of the reasons behind Roeder's exit, given the fact that Shepherd has in the past been open in his admiration for the former Wanderers chief. Newcastle have yet to make any official comment with regards Roeder's future.

I thought the film was quite disappointing. It wasn't BAD, but by no means was it Good. Nowhere near as good as the first two. It was too much of a love story, and Parker went completely weird at one point. Weird. Superman Returns was better...

The picture looks much clearer now. And, the World Champions is perhaps an unfair name to call the playoff winners, but it goes without saying that on a club level stage, the NBA champions can beat any club team over the world. If your team is the NBA Champions, you're the best team in the world. On an international stage, it is different story for sure, but I think that's not how it should be. The USA has the talent to beat anyone, anywhere, anytime. How it doesn't work is just amazing.

Why does no-one ever post in this thread when they have good things to say? It's all about if's or when's and not what's been going on and how amazing everything is. I had a great week. Spent all weekend watching basketball :D Like, all weekend. 11am till 1am next morning. Both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday afternoon I was told that I'm going to the prom at the end of June with one of the best people in my life, yesterday I had a very easy day at school and went for a walk in the afternoon and relaxed and today, I went into school to find that a digger went through a electics cable and all the networks were down - meaning I could go home. :)

When your brothers are like, 20, you'll be able to show them this thread and they'll be saying to you "wow. you used to bully us into posing for photos?" :)
