More importantly... Mendes is ok. :) I actually met him after the Portsmouth game against Blackburn the other week (I was on holiday on the Isle of Wight and went to the game) and he's a thoroughly nice man and a pleasure to talk to. He's handled himself really well since the incident happened also.

Ahh. I know exactly what you mean. Not on the same level or situation, but I've been down the road where I think no-one cares for me. How wrong I was. Grace, how long were they going out? And how old is he?

My mom would break my door down and find out what was wrong with me before I had a choice over whether I saw her or not. When he says he doesn't want to meet anyone, it's basically crying out that he NEEDS to meet someone. How late is it? Can't you get in touch with his parents and explain that you're worried? Surely leaving him alone isn't the right way to go about the fact he wants to end the world.

5 reasons I'm so bored right now: 1) My 2 best friends from this neighbourhood are both on holiday. Fantastic. 2) The weather is so damn unpredictable there's no use trying to go out. 3) No-one to talk to on MSN (feel free to add me.) 4) It's midnight... And I don't like having to finish the day. 5) I need a fifth bulletpoint but to be honest, there's only 4 reasons.

If you can, could you not go to his house and see him? I know what it's like having a problem and trying to tell a friend on the computer or phone and just getting frustrated at the fact that I can't get it across right. I might not be like this guy but still... you shouldn't be online for 17 hours. Maybe real communication is what he needs?

I loved it. But I'm a self confessed fan of any superhero.

I used to use one but it slowed my PC right down so I scrapped it. It's not all that important and it does slow your computer down so only do it if you feel you're ok with a slower PC.

Terry is a different player when it comes to being captain. I think just cause Gerrard doesn't hold the armband doesn't mean he won't be shouting around or being influential. Beckham getting dropped is ridiculous. To say that talent-wise Beckham isn't in the top 25 English players is a very stupid thought. When McClaren was asked if Beckham is or is not the best right sided midfielder in the country, you could tell he knew the answer was yes. Lennon in 2 years or 1 year will hopefully be at a standard where he can start on the right, but right now he should be a backup for Becks. This "new era" is a poor excuse. If it was the case Gary Neville wouldn't be in the squad. Beckham and Neville will both be 33 when the next Euro championships come around. If McClaren is building from youth, why is Neville there? Beckham was a good captain and better for England than Neville has been. To say that some of the midfielders in the squad are players you would rather see on the team than Beckham is ridiculous. Even if Beckham was coming off the bench, that'd be a damn sight better than seeing Phil Neville coming off the bench, or Jermaine Jenas, or Keiron Richardson. None of these 3 players have the right to be in that England squad over a player like Beckham. If McClaren has a real reason for axing Beckham, it's a non-footballing one.
