A truly amazing show. I was right in front of the pop-up stage (B Stage?). The energy never let up. Chris sounded amazing and the songs have been polished to perfection. Politik, Green Eyes, Lovers In Japan, and 42 were definite highlights for me. I can't even form an actual description. The crowd was in top-form as well.

That's peanuts compared to a lot of other riders.

I'm only getting Life In Techincolor II, Rainy Day, Prospekt's March, and Glass Of Water. They're fantastic so far though!

Who do you think they'll get for the special guest that they always get for Atlanta? Especially since they have TWO shows to do (Because they love us so much :D )!

I LOVED it! The cinematography is great, and I love the colors. It was nice seeing all the guys having a blast.

Will is actually the one who sings with him most of the time. Guy joins in when that's not enough, and Jonny is their bass/baritone back up vocalist. 'Don't Panic' and 'Daylight' are the ones that come to mind.

Haha.. those are my top two Coldplay songs as well. It's probably because those are the ones on my "bedtime" playlists, which play on repeat all night.

Chinese Sleep Chant

They're probably staying at the Four Seasons actually. That's where they stayed (For about two months... yikes) last tour. I'd say hang out around the Little Five Points area... Peachtree/Midtown. Maybe Virginia Highlands. If Tower hadn't been shut down, I would definitely suggest that as well. In other news, I got awesome seats for this show and can hardly wait! Section 1, Row P

It might also have something to with the fact that they love Atlanta. Always have, even since Parachutes. Plus, the November 11th date (The one I'm going to) sold out in a half hour. Oh... and I have AWESOME seats. Just sayin'.

THE UNTHINKABLE HAS HAPPENED!

I do agree with radiomad, though. Chris is really flawless when he's sitting down at the piano or stuck in front of a microphone with a guitar. I think his performances of 'Lovers In Japan', 'Strawberry Swing', among others of the newer songs, are great, but when it comes time for 'Lost!' or 'Talk' or any other song where he has no instruments to keep him stationary, he's running around the stage and losing his breath, which affects his voice.

Chris' voice has always been the deciding factor in all Coldplay songs for me. It's something intangible... some unidentifiable quality in his timbre and the way he sings, how he projects it to resound right through you like a physical blow. It's amazing. And of course, the near-torment on his face when he's performing live only strikes that much harder. It's a really close tie between Parachutes and Rush of Blood, as Parachutes is perfect and Rush of Blood got me into Coldplay, and subsquently music, but I also love Viva. X&Y is very forgettable. I'm gonna go with Parachutes. :)
