Aww Will... I'm right there with you KM Yo guys might want to Check out my post 'Coldplay Christmas Haul'. I have some funny anecdotes regarding Will. (And the others of course, but mostly Will, surprisingly).

WOW. A lithiograph, calandar and two rare EPs? ENVY! And dajrekshn, another one was when Chris was booed off stage when he was young. He was in a band (I think he was like 15 or something) and wore a horrible leather waistecoat and was acting like Bono. Poor Chris. :( And It also said that Will had to go to an alternative school because he wasn't the "ideal" primary school student. He said his classmates ended up "graduating" to prison for rape, murder, and arson. :stunned: Hmmm... And then it said that Guy had heard of Jonny and Chris' "baby band" and approched them about it completly drunk in a bar. The next day he was in their dorm writing songs and he was so enthusiastic (Even more so than Chris if you can beleive it) that Chris and Jonny accepted him. :lol: And Will was nothing more than a casual aqquaintence and hockey partner of Chris' (They actually met first) before Will arranged an audition with his room mate who was a drummer. They showed up, room mate wasn't there (Was off his face at some pub) so Will picked up the drums so he felt that he wasn't wasting their time and viola! Oh and another on Will: He worked at the Glastonbury festival as a stage hand or something one summer. It says that the headliner, James Brown was being a real pain and running through the production rooms shouting and throwing fits and stuff. Finally, Will came on the intercom and announced "Sorry, but Mr. Brown will not be performing until he is equipped 12,000 Tommy Hilfiger rucksacks and silk drape to stand on." It also said that Will was the manager before Phil came along. He's the one who booked the Camden gig and everything. Phew.

HAPPY/MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL! But I thought here is where you could boast your Coldplay Christmas aquisitions, seeing as how if you browse this board, you're probably a pretty big Coldplay fan and so your family knows that anything pretaining to them would be better than just about anything. I got a book. It's called "Coldplay: Nobody Said It Was Easy" by Martin Roach. I think I've heard of it before, but it gives a very raw and in depth look into the growth and origins of the band as well as some pictures I've never seen before. :) (There's actually a very funny accont of when Chris got plastered after Will walked out in recording sessions and he was in Guy's apartment. Guy went out on a date and he came back and found Chris passed out on his living floor in a puddle of Ribena-laced vomit *Gross*.) My mom says that there's something else in the mail and I have a feeling that it's the 2006 calendar, but I could be wrong. Did anyone else get any tasty Coldplay goodies for Christmas? :D

Wellyou are not alone. I thought for the longest time that at the end of Amsterdam he says 'You can say what you mea / but it won't change a sin'. I mean really. He says 's' not 'th' and to make things worse he never does get around to pronouncing the 'g'. That man has the worse diction on the face of the earth, but I love him anyways. :) Wouldn't quite be Coldplay if you could actually understand what he was saying. :lol:

I think I would like a man who could apperciate good beers or wines (None of that Bud Lite crap - Oh man, my sister already has me brainwashed!), but smoking? Not so much. I get a headache if I'm around too much cig smoke. :/

Hmm... I don't know. I was on there just this morning and nothing seemed to be slow. Maybe they're just experiencing some technical difficulties right now.

It's crazy, because I found a book on Coldplay in my mom's closet that's obviously for me for Christmas and I felt really bac about finding it simply because it was Coldplay. ...Something weird like that. I was scolding myself the whole time just because it was something to do with them. If it had been a book on... I don't know... astronomy or something I probably wouldn't feel bad at all. That's really, really strange right? I have a problem. It's official. ETA Just music in general makes me feel better, but Coldplay most especially. Whenever I'm feeling down, or upset or just sick, I always turn to their music. I agree: they do have healing powers. Nobody else has a band quite like Coldplay. I heart them so much. :wacky:
