  1. ^that list is really something special.
  2. ^Sorry about that, I just felt I had to post it somewhere and this is where I was at the time. I'm fine now, I wonder what sparked it... :thinking:

    I like to listen to them occasionally but they steal so many riffs it's not funny. At least on the first album they do, we'll have to wait and see with the second...
  6. I dunno if this is allowed, but I didn't report you because you seem nice. :nice: And I clicked for ya.
  7. Nice! :cool: P.S. that is a really well designed website.
  8. 9:01 PM: Actually listening to Coldplay for the first time in...... months. I love rediscovering bands.

    aren't they meant to be pics that would actually defeat them in a battle or whatever? If so: BUTT PLUGS!!
  11. I'm about to upgrade but now I'm scared, should I do it?

    I've never noticed any large musical connection between Coldplay and Radiohead but I always find these suttle things which I need to put somewhere or I'll forget them: The first single and second track on both first albums is a sort of teen-like "I adore you but you don't even look at me" type thing. Both Jonny's play telecasters primarily. Politik uses a 'k' ala Packt Sardines Chris's son is named Moses, Thom's is Noah. And now I'm pissed off because I thought of so many of these subtle similarities that I now forget. grrrrrrr.:angry:
  13. Yeah, that was a bit harsh. I was just imagining what your parents said: "Where's your wallet?" "I was mugged by a hobo with a big wrench."
  14. You wouldn't have been disappointed. I strongly urge you to still consider it. It has grown so much since the first time I went. (A trip in primary school strange enough. :uhoh:)

    A bit of controversy. Well first, it is called 'Layla'. But my main argument. Do you mean the original electric version or the unplugged live version? Because the original is by 'Derek and the Dominos'. But I think the acoustic could be counted because, even though there is no studio version, that I know of, it is official recorded on an album.
  17. :laugh4::laugh4::laugh4: You loser.
  18. I didn't expect myself to react the way I did to this. Whenever people discussed Steve Irwin at school or something the general opinion was that he was a bit of a freak. There were actually many people who hated his guts. But today. The school was informed through a teacher or something and nobody said a word. You'd expect a heap of 'it was bound to happen' type statements. But there was nothing, just silence. The news has been all over this accident. There have been like 50 reports and dedications and all that type of thing today. I heard a speech from John Howard on the radio today and he was actually almost in tears. For me, this was a huge tragedy. Normally when someone famous dies, it is like, meh. But when I heard this news I felt something inside just....... I dunno...... break. Like a piece of me. I mean, what the hell? I don't even know the guy. I didn't even really like him. Maybe it is national identity or something.... I dunno. I think it is maybe just because he is one of the people that makes me feel safe in this world. Another one of those people being Walt Disney. He died before I was born, but if he was alive at this time I would feel a lot more safe in this world. It is like, I can't believe he is dead. As Mark said, he was a brilliant man. He had a wonderful zest for life. He did a lot more for conservation than most people know. And his zoo was the best I have been to. (All the major zoos in Australia.) He had a wife and two children and I just can't imagine how I feel. I saw an add for 'Australia Zoo' last week where his daughter is singing some song and she says "you might even see my dad there too". :cry: Terrible loss. I wonder how many 'pwned' pictures will come outta this. :\

    I get it now, thanks for clearing that up. :wink2:
  22. I love the way the threadstarter just says: "Keane suck by the way", as if in a way that they are saying: "just for the people who don't know, because it is a wideknown fact." I don't like Keane, because I've never listened to them (probably should get around to it. :P), but I hate nothing more than people forcing opinions onto others as if they are fact. Oasis were great, as the Keane guy said, back in the early to mid nineties. But they are pretty much gone now. They haven't made any good music for at least 5 years. Although that is just my opinion, you can feel however you want about it. I also noticed the threadstarter going into the thread of another band, who I decided to check out, The Kooks. And they went in their just to discriminate the band, you don't do that, it's just stupid.
