Oh I am quite addicted to the Kooks, but in a strange way. I'm quite obsessional with the music, but I'm less obsessional about the members, just more admiring? If that makes any sense? So I pretty much suck at finding news or traipsing around message boards! I think all my time is taken up by Carlos and the lot!!! :uhoh: :laugh4: I love my Kooks :nice: A lot a lot a lot... They were the first band I saw when I turned 18 at Oxegen, they hold the special place in my heart!

I always mean to catch up, but I don't really frequent LJ and always seem to miss posts, so this is where I get most of my stuff! ;) That is an awesome setlist, cool how they started with You Fucking Love It, but in my opinion I still think Deadwood is the best opener. You Fucking Love It, in the middle, is great.

I hated the episode last night. When I saw Vincent and Angela come out, I literally just..... ugh. I almost turned it off. If either of them stayed, I would have stopped watching. In my opinion, neither Vincent NOR Angela deserved to win the challenges that they did. Which leads me to believe that the producers had this twist in mind from the begining, and very specifically chose who would win (notice, Vincent and Angela were the two biggest "hard" characters?) and allow them to come back. Either way, it was SO obviously done for drama. How pathetic. A once credible (in my opinion, nothing is credible about this season) reality show starting to rely on techniques that Survivor has utilized. Unbelievable. I really liked Kayne's outfit. In fact, I liked all of the outfits (except for Vincent's and Angela's). Well, at least they're gone. What a ridiculous episode, and a waste of time. Neither of them stirred much of anything up, and neither of them stayed. It was unnecessary. The end. But I'm glad Laura won, I really really loved her dress!

The gorgeous Nick Valensi. Cuz although Jules might be the one and only, I don't mind a look around. :laugh4: :P (I wonder if everyone has that look of utter terror when approaching China? The crowds are tough at Strokes shows. Here in America they're just really fucking annoying. I don't think anyone really appreciates them, so... In Ireland I stood way in the back (Oxegen Festival) and saw them from like a mile away, so it wasn't too bad back there. But up front? oy. Oh my god. Adam Green is amazing :laugh4: I really love him. :heart: I'm going to one of his gigs a week from this Sunday!!

Yeah, it really is strange that they cut out those parts in the video..... Did the peoples who took this video post this on google, or was it someone who just got ahold of the tape? Perhaps it was done purposefully, which is quite suspicious. It is certainly an interesting angle, one that I hadn't really seen before for an extended amount of time. For something like this, I understand they may have wanted to keep it short, or toned down. But the moments before it collapsed, the plane flying into it, all of this is more important than just random shots of people getting into a boat or walking down the street. That's what I can't understand.... I, personally, would be willing to see a "real time" video, the whole thing unedited. Oh well.... Perhaps it will surface, or something like it.

I will never look at Didz again without a sexual thought. Especially after the man bent over in front of me and like... whoa. Whoa whoa whoa. :laugh4: Oh man. I don't think I'll ever recover from that. lmfaooo
