  1. ^Awesome!! I really love the stars! :D That'd make a great desktop, I'd use it if I weren't so happy with my Adam Green one :uhoh: :laugh4: So, I've started uploading and editing pictures that I took this past July when I went to Dublin. Here are just a few of my favorites. The gardens of St. Patricks... Guinness Factory!! :wacky: A little old lady outside of Trinity College, waiting for the bus I believe. She was so prim and proper looking, I couldn't resist snapping this. I don't know what or why this is, but it was amazing. Temple Bar, my favorite place ever! I liked the pigeon on the top. Irish hills in the distance... And the same. I miss Dublin!! I've also uploaded all of these pictures to my flickr account, so check it out! :D
  2. That's Luke Pritchard, lead singer from The Kooks. Check them out! :D And he's certainly not stupid. I don't know why people have to be so negative... It's just personal taste, saying things like that make people who happen to actually like him feel self concious and slightly insulted... ;)
  3. Dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. :dead: That's uh, about all I can muster.
  4. I always thought Hugh Jackman was gay.... Don't know why. Is he? Not that it matters at all, I agree that he's quite good looking lmfao, but yeah... Always had this sneaking suspicion...
  5. That is the coolest fucking car I have ever seen. Holy crap. *paints Jeep like that!* Haha, naw. I wish though!
  6. Lifelike, I've noticed that GA is actually much cheaper. For U2 the GA tickets are about 50 bucks, whereas actual seating is more expensive, maybe 100 bucks. When you go to small venues, it really depends on the band, venue and how popular the tickets are. Like, I'm going to see Scissors for Lefty in a week and their tickets are only 8 bucks. While I went to see Arctic Monkeys and they were 20 etc etc. Always go for GA if you have a choice ;) ^You've seen some amazing shows!!! And yes, indeed, I have heard of that little band called Keane... :laugh4:
  7. You figured wrong!!! :veryangry:
  8. *pretends not to be openly staring at Anthony's ass* *whistles* OH WHO AM I KIDDING. OH MY GOD.
  9. I think that large GA shows were disintegrated here in the States after all those people were killed at the Who concert, in the 70s I think. Still I really hate having seats. A lot of acts come to like... stadiums here in the states anyways. Like U2. But even they have a nice big GA floor (next time they tour I'm only doing GA, honestly I hate having seats so much). I kinda have issues with authority too, concert security in particular. I've been yelled at a lot of times for recording video, and physically had my arm shoved down to make me stop taking pictures. Which led to me screaming in the guys face that I was going to complain to management...... That was at my Coldplay gig :laugh4: Kind of ruined it. Even though I have seats I tend to move up about 4 rows because everyone stands up and moves into the aisles. So are all gigs in the UK not seated/strictly GA? That is really really lucky. I know personally I'm more excited for my GA Strokes gig in October, than the one I'm going to on Tuesday where I have seats in like the 40th row. It's so fucking stupid. I don't care, anything's better than standing in the rain watching them during Oxegen festival :laugh4: But still. Hmph. Damn the USA. Damnit.
  10. That's a beautiful picture.... but quite tragic at the same time.... :( Oh man...
  11. I'm quite upset that I didn't get any tickets to their gigs in NYC. I wish they'd come closer to me! :( Well, that's ok, I have already seen them afterall. But festival shows are never the same, always like to catch a band in a real concert setting. I'm sure they'll be touring here in Boston sometime in the future! :D
  12. Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke! Everytime I see him, I just melt! I love the first picture you posted! (What is your name, by the way, andyjean? Or what may I call you? I hate calling people by their usernames it seems so inpersonal! ;) )
  13. Adam and Carl.... are my favorite ever  omg I love them. I LOVE ADAM /end random outburst (eeee I see him in like 2 weeks lmfao) etc etc
  14. I love how Matt's growing his 'fro out again!!! :laugh4: I was going to tell him to do that! He's so cute.
  15. lmfao, I saw those Therese, and I sort of laughed too... really hard... Peter looks so freakin' cute and good though! I can't get over it! :nice: But the fact that Tom and Peter are like... at the same place? That's kind of hysterical to me. I thought they weren't! Haha, they should have a picture together! lmfaoooo Tom's music and Peter's music... they're so DIFFERENT from each other, I wonder if they get along? I know Peter said that he thought Tom suspected HE was in "denial" and seemed pretty bitter about that (as anyone should be). Dunno...
  16. lmfao, Arctic Monkeys are only 20, 21ish. I think Alex is really only 2 years, or a year and a half, older than me... Considering I'm the type to only think people who are 10 years+ older than me hot........ well, I'm doing better!!! :laugh4:
  17. I agree with that. I haven't been to a proper "seated" show in about 4 months. The only gigs I've been to (including the Keane one in June) was in general admission clubs. They are SO much better than having a designated seat. Something about being "tied" to a shit seat when you know if you had the opportunity to fight for it, you could have been front row, just... takes away some of the intimacy and joy from a show. But when you've got that rail, front row, at a GA show? Nothing better in the world. Which is why I was so excited for the Keane/Razorlight gig, since I knew I'd have front row anyways without having to fight for it. *sigh...*
  18. I was really disapointed last night, thinking about it... :\ But you know, I have no control over the situation. So I can't bring myself to be angry or bitter about it. Things happen. And I will make it my GOAL beyond anything to get front row for the next time they come back!
  19. Alex fuckin' Turner.... has the same hairstyle as me!!!! :laugh4: I don't want to go into how much I love him.... :uhoh:
  20. YA'LL IS FREAKS!!!!!!!! haha, obviously I'm just joking. Or am I!
  21. Oh dear. Don't you UK freaks use the expression "bummed"!? Jeez.
  22. It is a waste, and disapointing to say the least. I can actually sympathize with that statement... :\ Since I am really disapointed right now. However, doesn't make the music any less to me. I won't lie and pretend like I was actually excited for the gig on the 24th. I was more "counting down the days" to the original date on the 16th (since at that point, Razorlight was opening. I think in some regards Keane did lose a LITTLE of their..... Keane-ness with this. Don't know why, I mean considering I come from the Libertines fan camp, this shouldn't be a surprise or factor. And it's really not just.... it's so unlike the band to let me down in this way. But I'll get along, and still try for tickets when they come back. Whenever THAT might be. EDIT: and at the same time, I'm glad it's something like this that they can fix. And not a death or something more tragic. Also, look at how Coldplay had to cancel their gigs last year when Chris was sick (that was the situation, right?). People were let down and said they hated Coldplay now because of that, pretty ridiculous. Then there were those on the U2 forum ragging on the Edge because... GASP! They had to postpone their gigs in Australia and the lot because his daughter has leukemia. People can be downright selfish bastards. But yeah.... when it comes to drugs..... I don't know. It does have a different "tinge" to it.
  23. Oh good, ok! :laugh4: Steph, seriously, we always post at the same time. Have you noticed that? It's freakin' hysterical ahaha. But I'm glad I cleared up what I meant, sometimes I use that "funny" expression and get totally taken wrong! Oy vey... aha Oh man, how messed up is THIS? I just got an email from Rag and Bone telling me where to send my tickets to... and I have to send them ALL THE WAY to freakin' READING. :stunned: Out of pocket! :bigcry: I'm lucky I live right outside Boston. But I really feel for the fans who made massive travel planes. This is quite the mess, but it's all for the greater good isn't it? Can't bring myself to complain that much at all.
