The Blue Room is an EP - Extended Play - which is a form of album but contains less songs. Parachutes is their first full-length release.

Where on EARTH did I call VLV a failure as an album? It's a CRACKING LP. There's a reason it hasn't come off repeat since I got it. But I think that Glass of Water fits lyrically into the concept of Viva La Vida, I think that the opening track is better with the lyrics (which are, incidentally, Martin's best ever penmanship) and Prospekt's March could easily have replaced Yes. Please don't put words into my mouth or assume I'm a fan of things that just sell well. Strip RoL, Yes, CSC and (perhaps) CoL, put those tracks in, and you've got an album literally devoid of filler of ANY kind. Were that the tracklisting you can almost guarantee that critically and popularly it would have been hailed as Coldplay's masterpiece. It just upsets me that, having released the tracks on separate CDs, they won't get credit for what really is a fantastically written set of songs about life and how to live it. So yes, please don't put f**king words into my mouth. Thank you. Oh, and if anybody wants my two cents, Lost+ works very well on the album :]

I'm gonna be at their first UK show... If they play LiTii instead of the VLV version, I am going to die right there on the spot.

I don't know about better than VLV but I do know one thing: Viva La Vida would have sold more copies with LiTii, Glass of Water, Rainy Day and Prospekt's March on it.

Can I just say something? X&Y was fairly atrocious lyrically; Martin has always been bashed for his generic and all-encompassing style and in parts that also showed up in VLV. His lyrical style on ROB and P was also very simplistic. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that PM is the best thing he's ever written. Anybody agree?

Is anybody else tempted to replace LiT on VLV with the lyricized version once we get it? i.e. on iTunes playlists, etc. ^^

:S really confusing guys; the Huw Stephens show has been uploaded to iPlayer and that was on between 9 and 10, AFTER Zane Lowe. Weird. The ZL show still isn't up.

Nobody listens to Zane Lowe. He's a dickhead. Unfortunately he seems to be fairly fond of Coldplay/vice-versa.

We're still waiting for the show to be uploaded to the BBC iPlayer website for watching back. Nobody realised that it had been played there until after it had been played. I'm F5'ing the page like crazy.
