there are random pictures from a while ago of the center of the city, where we go out... i like how jerusalem still keeps its old look... it looks pretty

1. get a really good grade on my pre-uni exams so i could study pschybiology by october of 09! 2. travel alot 3. see more concerts (hopefully.. if the traveling will work out) 4. not work, and hope my parents will pay for my year off :P 9. and HAVE FUN!!

when i was in elementary school i was livng abroad (norway and the philippines), and i studied in an international school... and in december we only celebrated christmas... trees and exchanging presents and everything.... and all the school vacations were according to the chritian holidays... i think there is something wrong about that when u study in an international school... i dont even remember them mentioning hanukkah well, im not relegious anyway, but i that is something to think about

lol... i think it was more like preventing them from doing their jewish rituals and taking their property etc i love ross... he's the funniest :D

lol.. i remember the holiday armadillo too!!! anyway, for your general knowledge... the story of hanukkah is when the greeks came to israel and destoyed the jewish temple and did some bad stuff... and then the jewish ppl faught back! and they got their temple back... they were called the maccabis back then... and yehuda the macabbi lead the battle! and the thing with the lights is that they found some oil, and the oil lasted them for 8 days of light, and it was a miracle.... so we celebrate the miracle and light 8 candles during 8 days... one for each day the the oil lasted :P thats it!!!

i skip it too i hate itttt it really ruins the song and i hate rap...! it just doesnt sound like it fits in to me

yay !! a happy hanukkah thread :D i love hanukkah!!! it's my favorite holiday...! it's pretty and yummy its a good reason to eat a billion jelly doughnuts...

umm not me maybe my dad, and luckily im his only daughter my brothers dont get the same treatment ;)

i think i win the groupie competition... i payed for an 800$ flight+5 nights in london... and i missed a week of studies during my exams...!! but it was soooo worth it :D

OMG!! i wish i'd taken the jubilee line earlier and would have seen him !!!! i got back yesterday from london after seeing the gig on monday!!! those were the best 2 hours of my life !!!! ive been dreaming of seeing coldplay since i was like 14, which is like 7 years ! I was so excited !!!! I felt so horrible how so many ppl seemed to take it for granted and walked out before it ended or talked and barely watched... i mean, i had to go through so much to get there.... :/ and now im having this post-concert depression!!! know what i mean? is that normal??? anyway..... i hope i get over this soon ! and too bad my camera is crappy because i was sitting in decent sits, i could have gotten good pics... the ones ppl posted on here are amazing !

actually, i havent been living in israel all my life either... i used to live in norway and also in the philippines... and im also totally in love with europe and enlgand !!! im actually kind of obssessed and wanna live in europe at some time or other... im just not sure it's the smartest thing to do educationally........ i was actually supposed to move to london !!! but my plans got totally screwed ! i was supposed to work in the embassy for a couple of year, i met with the embassador and everything and i was like a week away from getting the job and then they decided to give it to someone else :( that happenned about a month ago... it was like the worst week of my life... but i had to get myself together and now im working and studying here... :/

im good.... back to being home alot and being kind of bored... !!! that explains my sudden return to this forum ! :rolleyes:
