s I agree with everything u said---the reason why politicians dont care about young people is because young people dont care about politics----its always the old, middle class, middle aged and above people going out to vote and getting involved---so why reach to the ones that dont even vote or get involved -ofcourse it is a generalization

d because is the only way we do after all we certainly dont sit down to watch the news (unless they will report something on our fav. celebrity) we certainly dont read the newspaper we certainly dont look in the internet for news (unless all porn sites are down, or coldplaying.com is down) and ofcourse, these are all generalizations---doesnt mean its everyone

i wanted to apologize to all my fellow CFU members about the other thread---since it was locked--i didnt have the chance to reply i never meant no harm, no bad feelings, nothing for the other thread---all i wanted was answers because i had heard in other threads negative comments by some of the mods about CFU---and comments suggesting that ian was not happy too----i had couple threads deleted and didn't know why---and i kept looking and asking what the matter was--and no one would answer-------all i was looking for was for the truth and to know if the other CFU messageboard was a problem---cause if it was, we could have dismissed it, it was no big deal right?--------its just been a while now, that i felt the rejection---or, disaproval of the leaders of the board, and i know i wasnt the only one because i know couple other people who felt the same way too, so i wasnt alone for all that---i apologize, and want to say that i wished no harm or nothing bad for our club, and didnt mean anything wrong against the leaders of the board either---i love them all, some i am closer to them than others---but my intentions were never anything bad---(obviously, liquidsky is CFU member too who i love--so didnt mean any harm) you guys know that ever since CFU started---i have been a devoted member and have tried to contribute to it----but what i felt and what i had concern about in the other thread, was not only me, and i know many of you felt the disaproval too---i was just the one who went for it and asked what was going on everything i said--i do not regret--i just wish i would have made my point, or my concerns clearer---and i feel totally sad and torned out about it because i was replied in a bad manner i thought---which maybe i deserved--but anyways--it doesnt matter anymore again, i apologize for everything--and if someone's fault all this was, it was me--and for that i feel that i should just leave---maybe is my depression talking here---but i just like to express what i feel, even though sometimes i am insulted or yelled on by it (some members in the board are not too careful of their comments) :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

d I listen to you---but trust me, i have given them lots of tries--i only like one song and its "vertigo" and thats cause its catchy----but trust me, i have tried to like them, to see what the big deal about U2 is about---but i just cant my bf is a big, and i mean BIG fan of U2---has all the cd's---listens to them all the time, and i just dont see what the big deal is about---his voice is just so plain, so blah, not unique, and the songs are just whatever i have heard songs in the radio of U2, and i cant even tell if its them or some other new, or random band out there----his voice is so tasteless----unlike coldplay----even a non-fan would recognize a coldplay song----chris's voice is unique and smooth, and just awsome i just try and try to like it, so that i can share that apreciation with my bf, but i just dont see the fuzz i just dont think they are as talented as everyone says they are :kiss: :kiss: :kiss: :kiss: :kiss: :kiss: :kiss: (i went rambling too--did u see that---i tried not to, but its hard)

this is totally irrational to be saying it in this thread but.......IMO I dont like U2 and i dont think they are as talented as everyone says they are Bono's voice is so plain and tasteless--so blahhhh that doesnt call my attention I think if U2 and Coldplay would have come out exactly at the same time---Coldplay would have been more successful and more liked than U2 U2 only has lots of fans cause back there---they were the only band with their style and sound---and that is why alot of people followed them, but if they would have come out around this time---there would be nothing special or great about them---unlike Coldplay and let me calrify--before everyone starts to jump on me--this is not a U2 vs. Coldplay thing I just think U2 is way less talented than what people say they are---i dont find what all the fuzz is about
