  1. DAMMIT! I wanted to hear Chris and Nelly together!
  2. Noo. I <3 Carolina. If Buffalo wins, it just proves how sucky the world is.
  3. Season One's finale was fantastic. This finale had a steady buildup, then just crashed and burned with that last snowy scene. Season One of LOST was more enjoyable than Season Two, as well.
  4. Have you? Well how about producing some of those quotes and interviews, please.
  5. I was disappointed with the ending.
  6. No. No. This can NOT happen. I am NOT going to put up with a one-world government. And if this passes, we all know it's only a matter of time before it happens.
  7. Hurricane Chris + Hurricane William will own.
  8. Do you realize that Osama Bin Laden is a smarter man than most Americans give him credit for? He's a military strategist. He would know that an unprovoked terrorist attack on the United States would only "awake a sleeping giant" and be his ultimate demise. Think about it. Why would they randomly attack us? The whole story they give us is bullshit.
  9. Nick... will you please just admit that you're beat here? This is a DIRECT quote from my friend who just got back from the war: "Well, I mean, yeah... we're drilled in the head with basic procedures to follow during training... but it's a whole different ballgame once you get out in the midst of it all. If one of my commanding officers barks an order out at me, I don't stop and think 'Now is this standard procedure?' Because then if it was in fact not standard procedure, I don't have time to argue with my CO over whether or not it was a good call. I just do what he says, and if someone above him gets upset then he takes the heat for it. And, I mean, it's not just me. It's everyone." The End.
  10. my cellphone antenna.
  11. ...oops.
  12. I'm not holding "the whole military" accountable for that. But it's more than just a RARE, once in awhile incident like you are claiming. Wrong again. What means EVERYTHING on the battlefield to a soldier is the orders of their superiors. They don't have time to go through "standard military procedure" in a firefight. Whatever their superiors say, they are trained to instantly respond to.
  13. Da Vinci Code wasn't the amazing epic everyone was expecting, but it's definitely worth the money to go see. Paul Bettany as Silas = My $8.
  14. Have it. Stadium Arcadium - RHCP
  15. "Strip My Mind" - RHCP
  16. Really, Nick? You say it's not "standard military procedure". A lot of things aren't "standard military procedure" that ends up happening. I know four people who have been in war. One person was in Vietnam, one just got back from Afghanistan, one was just sent back to Iraq, and one was in the Gulf War. Each one of them has told me they saw their superiors order people to do stuff that they would never think possible. I won't even go into some of the sick things they told me. "Standard military procedure" means nothing to men on the battlefield. What matters is their life. "Standard military procedure" is some b/s fed to people back here at home to make us feel good about the war.
  17. I'm thinking Carolina versus Edmonton. Both take one, Edmonton takes 2 in a row, then Carolina rallies and wins 3 in a row to take the cup.
  18. And just so we're all clear - I'm not condemning the soldiers for doing what they do. It's a whole different world when you're on a battlefield. "About the time the first bullet goes flying by your head, politics and ethics goes right out the window." I think that quote says enough. I'm sure if I was a soldier, I'd do some things that I'd never want to think of again. Does it make it right? No. Does it justify it? No. But it does help to see things from another perspective. Whose fault is it REALLY? The man who sends our troops to war...
  19. I've learned something. It may be harsh, but it's got some truth to it. Arguing on the internet is like running the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
