Berrywoman... here are some figures from other US Presidents. Truman finished World War II... but then started the Korea conflict. North Korea had never attacked the United States. There was approximately 55,000 lives lost in that war. JFK started Vietnam. Vietnam never attacked us. He was then assassinated, and Johnson took over. Johnson made matters in Vietnam worse, and by the time the war ended there were approximately 58,000 lives lost. President Bill Clinton, a pretty popular guy on these boards, went to Bosnia without UN consent. Bosnia never attacked us, either. But when offered Osama bin Laden's head on a silver platter THREE TIMES by Sudan... he declined. Osama has attacked us multiple times. Since the war began, there have only been roughly 7600 (rounded up) lives lost. And look what he's actually managed to accomplish by doing so.

What would that truth be, bart. Oh, and just so we're all clear, I'm more of the Devil's Advocate here. I'm not really for or against Bush, but I do think the assaults leveled against him are unsubstantiated.

I concur. I really try and scour for interesting topics. Then, if I don't find any, I venture into the topics that I might not care about but just want to interact with people. But now...
