Natasha Bedingfield Covers "The Scientist"
^lol your back! i downloaded this some time ago also and she/ her voice didn't suit the song. seems like she was singing too high if i recall- imagine the song a large big slippery fish (a beautiful one i migh add) and natasha is this tiny thin net that tries to capture it. Well it just seemed like the net was having a hard time containing the fish and it didn't take long for the fish to break loose and the net lose all control and break in the process. mmmm ok i'll have to cut down on my choc i may be getting too much sugar lol

Favorite piece of clothing??
I'm so proud of you! WELL DONE!! lol It would have to be my comfy boots for me. They ended up being like an extension of my feet like fur or extra blubber on a polar bear. I loved them so much i couldn't part with them when going to sleep in the winter. Slept like a log socks are just not enough now.

Thom Yorke's "The Eraser"
yeah they play it here on a youth radio station with "fucked up" included. i really don't like when stations bleep things out.

Calling all headbangers!!
Which type of metal fan would you classify yourself as Sam? I think i'm in the 70s one. i see you've rolled your eyes at the sub-genres---is this because you consider them below standard? I was watching that Tool interview and one thing that confused me was when they mentioned Nirvarna (aren't they Grunge)

I'm not able to fuckin' do this...
If somebody could help it would be much appreciated, need these Cold War propaganda videos for an assignment. I've put them here cause they're actually very interesting and hilarious. i couldn't stop laughing, i can imagine what future generations would think of the propaganda today. Duck and cover 1984 or bust may be a communist http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BonLVVt10a4 Edit: its working for me now :)

I'm not able to fuckin' do this...
he he i'm still working at it i'm gona try the new things posted here i feel real stupid :( edit: tried iridens way which is the way explained in another thread but it still doesn't let me save as flv file Quote :"^ THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but how do i convert a .flv file into e.g. an avi file? and some videos don't work... well, i mean i can't download them " how were you able to download it as a flv file Grace? it only lets me save as a document therefore still sees it as an unknown file type. perhaps vid i'm trying to download is one of those videos that Grace describes as un-downloadable (?).

Calling all headbangers!!
green eyes88 i used to think the same thing until my sis had to do some vocal assignment and she had me do the drumbeat and some keyboad sounds of COB "in your face", while she did the guitar part. It was so layered it was confusing finding the seperate insturment sounds- they melded so well together. i agree with alyssa it takes talent. he he don't worry iccp i like H.I.M and Lacuna Coil which i have heard some metal heads think they're not metal (actually H.I.M are not 'heavy' metal lol) i found this interview on tool apparently they don't usually do interviews. It was very interesting and i found out alot i didn't know about them- i like their philosophy and their videos are awesome! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21CMr6m1BxE

And another old one don't know the name video clip is orange red (?) but really got into them cause bought vulture street, seems like their older stuff is even better so def must check it out. i really like Bernard's solo work, seems like lead singers from bands are trying their hand at solo work. Daniel from silverchair, That guy from Jebadiah.

ripping videos from youtube
i'm having problems with step 1 :( when i try to download from keepvid site i don't know how to save file as flv. so the file is not recognised by windows, quicktime, realplayer. And when using Riva encoder in the "input video" part when i browse the file doesn't even appear as it's not a video file (?) (!) Edit: Opps what did you do watermelonc1 to make it work? i tried temp internet files but nothing there.

Thanks for the posts Ian. no prob Mrcool. if they continue the way they are heading then no doubt they'll get really popular. In Aus Skeleton Jar IMO is what brought them to the limelight. Edit: For any Aus fans : just heard on the radio Youth Group live at the wirless- live concert played on radio- next week on triple J radio (not sure bout the time)
