.......The Herd that is. Awesome group with biting lyrics and head bobbing grooves and beats. Took me awhile to get their CD the sun never sets, but it was well worth it. Went to their concert again and it really made me realise i need this CD!! also talked to one of the MCs who was really down to earth and spoke excellent spanish! Their music is awesome and they are nice people to boot :) I love how they play hiphopwith a twist they have a string section and with a pinch of jazz. Not sure if you should trust my advice lol but here goes...(btw you may know these steps but just in case i've added them and if i'm wrong--- someone techno savy please correct me!) 1) using the Riva FLV encoder, browse the flv file you want in "input video". the "output video" automatically shows where your video will be saved under "destination video file" you can rename it . You can also change the .flv to .avi for example. Press encode to obtain encoded video. Note: open this file and you will only hear sound, no visual image. 2)Open Super. a) under "select output container" it gives you a variety of options from which to choose- for example avi. under "select ouput video codec" it provides you with options ( i have no idea which goes well with what format but i've heard DivX is good with avi and it has worked for me.) Note: later once converted the progam asks you again which codec you would like- its gives you options and explains that some are good for Windows media player and others for all players- i suppose you'll just have to try it out). b) in a green box there is "video" options and in blue box "audio" options ( haven't tried those out cos i'm not to confident with that yet and it probably needs time to experiment the different choices). c)Drag and drop the encoded file into grey box under "Active, Filename, Streaming link and Output Status. d) at the bottom of the grey box in which you've dragged and dropped the file you want encoded there are some buttons which include "Encode (active job list files)", "Play(active job list files)" and "player options" "player options" brings out a side bar to the right. here you can change other things to you video- full screen, brightness, contrast etc. "play" allows you to preview the video NOTE: if you have more than one video to convert then the preview will play ALL of them and you'll have to wait till they all end. also once played, the ticked box next to the list of items will have no tick- just click in the box for the ticks to appear in order to continue. e) "Encode" converts the file to what you have specified. NOTE 1: the progam will probably ask you again which codec you would like- its gives you options and explains that some are good for Windows media player and others for all players. NOTE 2: you may find it hard to find the output file. just check where you've downloaded the Super software it should be in a folder called "eRightSoft", in the "super" folder, in a folder called "output" Hope that helps :) and sorry for the novel lol
