i was just thinkin about this with my sis on the way home from school...this song should be banned forever. it isnt only that it has a terrible musicality, but the lyrics are just so condescending to women. i mean, gosh, are we objects???? wtf? really, should we just be standing there, EXPECTING and worst, WANTING men's attentiton?? and the video, dont get me started. **cools off* im a huge feminist. i hate the macho concept of men being above women...sorry if i went off..hehe. :P that's reason #256 why i luv coldplay: they dont demean ladies...they dont talk about Humps! :stunned: Sienna.. havent you heard the Nappies song? have you ever heard of satires?? a little comedy? or perhaps even humor? call me crazy, but i think the nappies is a whole different type of song. it was A JOKE, chris was overly excited about being a parent and all the buzz. even if the lyrics do mention references to sex and all, he is singing to his wife, not some prostitute. even if the song might have some strange sentences, it is just a joke, nothing serious, it isnt even a single. plus not even a third of the population has heard or seen this. the fact that makes this song not "sick and demeaning" most of all, is that a guy is singing it, not a girl, WANTING these things from RANDOM men, not her husband... :confused: **takes a breath** :D
