  3. i double majored in nursing and psychology. then despised being a nurse  , so i went back and got my master's in counselling psychology, and i love it. :) you may start out thinking you are set on something, then something will spark your interest and head you in a completely different direction. just make sure you find something you can be passionate about. ;)
  4. am i the only coldplay fan that cares about this??? been to each home game thus far, and we kicked ass. just makes me happy i guess :) . fact: the university of kentucky has the most wins of any basketball team in any division of college basketball. i think that may explain this addiction - it is more like a religion here. it's in the blood... we even make babies wear wildcat blue  oh my GOD, it's a cult :stunned: , but i love it!!
  5. you let our thread drop to page four??? *drops head in shame* get with it people!! ;)

  18. i have just recently been diagnosed with breast cancer at age 27. i have great doctors, and my future looks good. i was diagnosed with fibrocystic breast disease (non-cancerous masses) when i was 16, because of that, i have had mammograms every year since. normally they don't start annual mammograms until age 40 unless you have a family history of breast cancer. i have also been very diligent about doing breast self-examination and that is how i found the lump that is now cancer. but this thread is not a "poor me" thread... what i wanted to say to my friends here is no matter how young you are, or healthy you are... DO THE SELF-EXAMINATION every month. get familiar with how your own breasts feel. then if you find something that just doesn't seem right, go to your doctor - DON'T WAIT!! here is a link that goes step by step at how to do this for those that don't know : http://www.breastcancer.org/dia_detec_exam_5step.html do this for yourself and for those who love you ;) (sorry if this thread is a bummer :/ , but this is really important for me to encourage women to do this :) )
  19. that is hilarious julia!!
