Does it flow with the rest of the album? Probably not. But good lord it BANGS.

This is a lot closer to the Everyday Life sound actually, with the acoustic guitar and African choir and everything. Not a million miles away from something like Eko. I could see Chris performing this in Jordan. Not at all what I expected after the demo.

When the album comes out properly I'm gonna make an edit of 🌈 where the MUSIC section goes on longer, like in the demo.

Knee-jerk track ratings BRILLIANT Moon Music (holy fuck) Alien Hits Alien Radio One World VERY GOOD Jupiter (I’m surprised, but this is great) iAAM (it’s grown on me) Aeterna All My Love MEH feelslikeimfallinginmeh We Pray Good Feelings Overall, much better than AHFOD and MOTS, and fuck it, I prefer it to MX. Time will tell how it holds up next to Everyday Life. We Pray and Good Feelings hold it back from being Ghost Stories level for me but man it's a lot closer than I thought it would be.

As much as songs like We Pray and Good Feelings really disrupt things, this album really feels like the low-key continuation of Ghost Stories/Everyday Life I was hoping for.

So whilst you guys wait I’ll give my thoughts 1. Moon Music - piano and strings ballad, no drums. We dark and sad, think Daddy with Coloratura orchestration. They’ve never picked a song like this as an opener before. 2. feelslike - Works better in context of the album. 3. We Pray - belongs on a completely different album. Nothing else like it on here. 4. Jupiter - totally acoustic with no drums or synths. Features an african choir. Ends with Two Aliens sample. 5. Good Feelings - like We Pray, a total outlier. Baffling it’s not a single. 6. First half is the Neon Forest demo (and yes, we had MUSIC all along). Second half is Aegis Byrjun (Coldplay version) My wife’s out the loo, will do the rest on the bus

Jupiter is a straight up acoustic song - no drums. Think Sleeping Sun or Til Kingdom Come. It ends with a sample of Two Aliens. So TA is on the album, technically. MUSIC is the heavy bit of the Neon Forest leak. Angelsong is straight up a Sigur Ros song. No Angel Moon, Will is doing a Jonsi impression.

Listening now. Moon Music title track = Colora2ra + Daddy. Beautiful. Ballsy choice of opener for a pop album.

Also what makes One World so long compared to the live version? Is it an extended string section or is there another section which wasn’t performed live?

So All My Love will be the final Coldplay single… ever? So that means the musical and self titled won’t have any? Also, he doesn’t seem to know whether self titled or MOTS3 will come first. But neither will be ready by 2025, that’s for sure.
