I really like We Pray. It's a damn sight better than My Universe and honestly a lot better than FLIFIL too. It feels like something Damon Albarn would write, so I just hope Max doesn't un-Gorillaz it too much in the studio. Are the lyrics about Palestine? Would explain the late inclusion on the tracklist if so. Either way I'm thrilled to hear a Coldplay song with actual, interesting meaning behind the lyrics for once.

My personal guess is Man in the Moon and I am a Mountain are the two unknown tracks but that's just my educated guess

Moon Music, FLIFIL, All My Love, We Pray and One World are all confirmed Jupiter and Good Feelings are written on their new stage outfits (and have appeared on every single whiteboard without fail) so they’re probably included Rainbow Suite was tweeted about by Phil recently so that’s probably on there Man in the Moon is the only mystery on that list

It's not long to go now. Hopefully The Sun were right and we're getting the live debut of We Pray. It would be cool to get some other live debuts too a la Glastonbury 2011 but it would be foolish to expect that.

One World It won't be identical as FLIFIL is confirmed for track 2, plus it's confirmed to have 10 tracks whilst the December tracklist only had 9.

I know they said Eno was involved at that meetup a few years ago, but I haven't heard or seen anything since then that confirms he's actually been involved in Moon Music. Until it gets confirmed by someone I'm assuming he's actually not on this record at all, or if he is it's in a minor capacity (like guest backing vocalist or something).

So there's something called M.U.S.i.C. that's been uploaded which sounds like a reprise of Forever Whatever. Is this fake or not?

FLIFIL sounded pretty much identical to the snippet that leaked several months beforehand tbf

I remember way back in 2008 they were talking about the making of 42. They had written the first section and the final section, but there was a gap in the middle. So Chris told Johnny to fill it somehow, and he came back a few hours later with this weird-as-hell Radiohead style section. The result was one of Coldplay's finest and most creative songs. Nowadays when they're in that exact situation, Chris just fills it with "oooh!' and "lalalala". It's kind of bleak thinking of it like that. (The exception being getting a three minute long saxophone solo to fill up Arabesque. More of that kind of thinking please!)

The Sun reports the Little Simz collab (I guess that's We Pray) will be on the setlist, but we'll have to wait and see for that one. They've soundchecked it a few times, so it'll get added to the setlist eventually. They recently showed I'm a Mountain for a small group of people, so maybe there's a chance of that? FLIFIL will be played, surely.

Covid would've killed an EL tour before it began. But the view that EL is unmarketable, and albums like MOTS are somehow required for touring, is completely baffling. Who put that idea into their heads? The album could've been even bigger if they'd included songs like Weirdo, Olive Tree, Wedding Bells, Broken, Brother Lorenzo etc... Why do they do this to themselves?
