We Pray sounds pretty cool, I love what I'm hearing actually, but it'll certainly piss off a subsection of Coldplay's fanbase once it's released. Angel Song sounds wonderful. I can't believe Weekday is real.

Never said the recording was bullshit. The recording is great. Your decision to prevent fans from downloading something they wanted to hear however, that's bullshit. If I hadn't put it up for download someone else would've.

How they sound performing live and how they sound produced by Max Martin are two different things. We need to prepare ourselves for that.

We might get quite a few remixes/alt versions if the HP and MU releases are anything to go by, but I wouldn't expect any extra songs. I'm still thinking the single will be released next week and the video a week after. None of the MOTS singles launched with a music video, unless you count the shipping container version of Higher Power.

planetacoldplay has a whole bunch of song snippets and photos from the shoot So is it two weeks until the video or two weeks until the song release in general? If so they're really dragging it out

I'm being cautious here. In the leadup to MOTS I was 100% convinced it would be better than AHFOD. My reasoning was sound, I think. Max Martin is a much better producer than Stargate, Coloratura alone kicks the crap out of everything on AHFOD, Higher Power and Human Heart were lovely songs, and POTP was The Man Who Swears (a Viva era tune) so it must be good. I specifically said at the time "the only way it's worse than AHFOD is if everything we haven't heard yet absolutely sucks". Then lo and behold. That's a bit unfair. Infinity Sign is one of my favourite Coldplay tunes ever and Humankind is a fun song. But still, I learned a valuable lesson.

This seems to confirm that the soundcheck song is indeed on Moon Music, thank god. By process of elimination I'm guessing it's probably Man in the Moon.

Chris introduced All My Love by saying "You weren't supposed to hear this until September" so I wouldn't expect it any sooner

If they're not releasing the single soon, why put the teaser out? Why not delay the teasers if it's not ready yet? Weird behaviour.

I'm willing to bet the single will be out sometime next week, hopefully alongside the album announcement. It would be strange to tease the single now and not release it for another fortnight. They're getting a bit of press coverage for the snippet now and it would be weird if they chose not to capitalise on that momentum.

Theoretically they could do a digital release first and roll out the vinyl a few months later, but I don't see Warner wanting to fragment the release that way as it may negatively effect chart numbers. So we're probably looking at the end of the year
