Knee-jerk song ratings imho Brilliant Coloratura Great Humankind Human Heart People of the Pride Infinity Sign Good Higher Power Biutyful Eh Let Somebody Go My Universe

Given the amount of spoilers/previews/singles/whatever this album turned out pretty much exactly as I expected it to

Humankind is what I wanted Higher Power to be

I'm digging the song a lot more than I thought I would

The majority of Biutyful is in chipmunk voice. You've been warned

Can confirm the full album leak is legit. Listening now

MOTS2 has to be the most pointless interlude in Coldplay history imo

Everything except Humankind, POTP and Biutyful

Take the drums out of Infinity Sign and I'd get a real Escapist/Midnight vibe off it. Jon Hopkins-esque for sure

I think they might've gotten Human Heart and Biutyful mixed up

I wonder if Alien Choir is the outro to Humankind, it doesn't really connect to Let Somebody Go at all

Just got to the second half. That's unexpectedly beautiful

It would've been nice if they did a proper recording of Life is Beautiful, but Infinity Sign is nice enough as an interlude

The band's official YouTube will upload the album as soon as it's released and that'll be Timezone protected too. Anyone else uploading the album will be zapped immediately by EMI's copyright bots.

Should be midnight in your timezone

Album is now officially less than 24 hours away. We're in the final stretch guys

At this point we have just over 24 hours before it's officially released in New Zealand. We're better off waiting for that

At this rate I’m expecting it not to leak at all. I don’t know whether to be annoyed or impressed

If the whole album was made up of BTS collabs the ARMY would’ve leaked it months ago

I’d love a leak but it’s only a few days away now. We can survive.

?‍♂️

Apparently there’s no hidden track

I already had my "oh no they're selling out" moment around MX in 2011. Ten years on and I'm just along for the ride. Coldplay are going to put out a pop album every second album, that's just the way it is now. They still release albums like Everyday Life and songs like Coloratura every now and then so I still think they're worth following. And for whatever it's worth, MOTS is shaping up to be a stronger album than AHFOD. Would I rather Coldplay continued in the direction of VLV? Of course, but I don't see much point in complaining about it now. Pop Coldplay is not my favourite Coldplay by any means, but generally speaking they do a better take on it than most pop artists in the charts. If they are going to do this ultra-radio friendly mainstream pop sound I'd rather hear it done well, and for the most part Coldplay do it well.

I’d be amazed if LSG wasn’t a single in that case
