Famous Old Painter

Not really expecting announcements of any sort until late May, possibly even afterwards. It's possible they debut a new song at the Big Weekend and don't release it until the next week (so early June)

Do any of you guys have Songs of Ascent?

I can remix that though

Under normal circumstances I would 100% agree but on MOTS the interludes are among the better tracks, I'm glad they're not attached to anything (MOTS2 not withstanding of course)

The band are allowed to make whatever they want to make, and I'm allowed to listen to whatever I want to listen to. I'm not going to blindly love everything a band does just because I enjoy most of their stuff.

I recon Earthling will make it. It feels like a musical song to me.

I vaguely remember you. What was your avatar, do you remember?

Also I have a very strong feeling the musical will be based on The Weirdos. That would be such a Coldplay thing to do "Oh you guys don't like The Weirdos? You want us to return to our classic style? Well how about A WHOLE MOVIE ABOUT THE WEIRDOS instead?"

The album is called Angel Moon Music

@Divutian it's against the rules here to mention the name of that site, might wanna edit your post

Both sound fine to me

I get why people want desperately Life is Beautiful or Lukas or whatever, but why the latest mix of Good Feelings? A demo is out in full, and we're all gonna hear the final mixed version in a month or two anyway.

Someone could set up something like r/coldplayleaks as well as a discord server. Coldplay are one of the biggest bands in the world (much bigger than Brockhampton for instance and they pull it off comfortably) so there’d surely be enough fans to make groupbuys really easy. The issue becomes making enough people aware to make the proposition viable, but not so many that people get in trouble.

Artists like Brockhampton and Kanye West have communities where fans team up to raise money for groupbuys. Maybe it's something the Coldplay fanbase could consider.

Most double albums are boring and bloated with filler. I’d rather a band like Coldplay take The Smiths approach, and release big b-side compilations alongside their albums.

So that makes One World, Neon Forest and A Moon Song I’m excited to hear. Moon Music might just be salvageable yet.

I've seen it speculated (and this could be bullshit) that they've been working on MOTS3 at the same time, and that Moon Music was delayed so the two releases wouldn't be far apart. Which would make sense if they're still aiming to get all three albums out by the (I guess) 2027 deadline.

Is this in order?

Other than Neon Forest, are there any other more understated songs being considered for MM along the lines of A Wave, One World, Earthling, Human Heart, Infinity Sign etc?

I hope they release Neon Forest, sounds great from the descriptions so far

Ambient Aeterna sounds like it might be cool, I hope they release that.

Yep, basically Warner assumed I was uploading the recent leaks (which I wasn't, they were re-creations, but it's not like they were going to listen to confirm that). If I get one more copyright strike I lose my channel, so the Coldplay stuff had to go. But when my two copyright strikes expire in a few months, I'll upload most of the stuff again. In the meantime, I've put it all up on Google Drive https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YwwLsKFdhXPcwBYZGUfzKJwIu1IQ4ysU?usp=share_link

Not saying you're wrong at all, but man Azealia Banks is like, the least reliable witness in the universe

I mean if Dave really wants to get back at his old employers, I know a certain website I could direct him to

The last half a page has just been Admirice talking to himself. You alright mate?
