You go on and on about how much you've done for the community, and how we should all be thankful towards you for the leaks. But you then say how you've never leaked anything and never will, and that the people who leaked the music are the bad guys here. But surely if I was to be thankful to anyone for sharing things with the community, it would be the leakers? They actually shared the stuff. Your contribution to the community is engaging in at best, dodgy and immoral business practices then keeping everything for yourself and bragging about it. Again, enjoy your collection. Do whatever you want with it. I don't care. But quit trying to frame yourself as the good guy here.

Unless Chris Martin personally sat you down and gifted you access to the entire Coldplay vault, you've been stealing from the band. I'm not going to applaud someone who's a thief, regardless of the amount of "work" you put into stealing stuff. Because you're right, they're not your songs. They're Coldplay's at the end of the day.

I really want MM to be better but nothing I've heard so far has given me optimism. Jupiter and Good Feelings suck. UFO bores me. Robots makes me cringe. The Only One is pretty good but I'd rank Higher Power, Humankind and Human Heart above it. One World is bloody brilliant (as is A Wave if that's still on the table) but it's no Coloratura. I'm hoping there are some secret masterpieces we don't know about.

They agreed to book a big stadium tour and lock in a hard release date before the album was finished. They were working on it until the 11th hour (Bono was literally re-recording vocals at the mastering desk the night before the album was sent to pressing). In the end they released an album that no-one in U2 is happy with, because they consider it unfinished. But everything had already been booked, they couldn't delay the album any further.

On one hand it's frustrating because we've been waiting so long, on the other hand I'd rather a delay than a U2 Pop scenario. They really gotta stop announcing albums so far in advance.

There is for sure a recording, it was in the documentary. Whether or not anyone outside the band has access to the recording is another matter.

It's possible the soundtrack for MOTS3 is done, they're just waiting on the actual film production to wrap up. At least, I hope so. Otherwise we'll be waiting a long time. On another note, I hope MM has some nice ambient pieces. Those were some of the highlights of MOTS.

How much do you recon they're going to drag the rollout out for? They could go with the AHFOD/EL approach and release the album a month after its announcement. Or they could go with the MOTS1 approach and drag it out for 6 fucking months. I suspect it'll be the latter, but it all depends on what their strategy is with regards to promoting new material on tour.
