Coldplay - PLEASE LLAMAPYTHON UPLOAD UP WITH THE BIRDS DEMO.jpg Oops, sorry. Wrong site.

Up With the Birds snippet is out I wonder if the gates are going to open with the MX sessions at some point

Also Chris is full of shit at the best of times, and if Coldplay actually follows through with their retirement (and I’m dubious) he’ll definitely start putting out solo albums afterwards.

It’s worth noting that part of the reason why AHFOD (and to an extent MOTS) were released so quickly is because neither GS or EL were supported by a world tour.

Just an assumption. It's the most Eno-ish song that's come out so far

AFAIK the leakers don't have access to the MX or GS sessions yet.

The real question is how many songs is he going to feature on? That could make or break the record. I'll be disappointed if he only shows up for One World and fucks off. Also, it's kind of funny that the best I'm hoping for right now is an inconsistent, incohesive mess of an album.

So this is old news and I know I'm beating a dead horse here but as more time goes on the more insane the whole "three albums then retiring in 2025" thing feels. Like a Coldplay album takes 3 years to produce at the best of times, and Chris thought he could produce three in quick succession whilst pulling off a huge world stadium tour at the same time? What makes it more insane is the fact that the second upcoming album is planned to be the soundtrack to a film. Those things are expensive and take time to produce, let alone distribute to cinemas or streaming services or what have you. So I'm expecting we'll be waiting quite a while for that. Which means by the time the self titled album comes out it'll be close to 2030, which is plenty of time for Chris and the boys to reconsider the whole retirement thing. Don't forget AHFOD was going to be the last Coldplay album, until it wasn't.

This is pure speculation on my part, but it feels like it could be a good musical song to me. I can see the lyrics being part of a storyline, and the final volume is called "Home" which ties in with the lyrics as well. The downside is that it would get released as part of a movie where we watch the Angel Moon puppet singing this song but you know, I'll take it.

afaik Earthling is a MOTS outtake and is not being considered for Moon Music

The two soundchecked songs sound great, but hard to judge as we don't know how many additional layers of production there's going to be

Right now I'm expecting One World to be the closest thing to Coloratura on the record. Which is great, but you know

What are the odds of MM having another epic like Coloratura? Chris initially saying the album would be 9 songs long bodes well for this. However disappointment is the name of the game as far as Coldplay goes at the moment, so it would be foolish to expect it.

No disrespect to Jin, but he made it sound like a big pop song which, yeah, makes sense. But the Coldplay version has this raw, intimate feeling and is probably the most sweet and romantic I've heard Chris since probably Strawberry Swing. I'm sure Max Martin would've knocked all the emotion out of it had they decided to use it on MOTS, but this demo is really nice to have.

Nope!

It's the Coldplay version we've all been waiting for, but someone's put it through Melodyne and changed all the notes of all the instruments to E. Which is pretty hilarious. Here's a better execution of that idea - https://soundcloud.com/vagidictoris/all-star-by-smash-mouth-but-all-notes-are-in-c

Is there a particular reason why The Astronaut still hasn't leaked yet? That's the only one of the original snippets still outstanding afaik (except Jupiter which I'm happy to wait for, and Life is Beautiful but I've given up on that one).

The Estronaut🤣 I'm not even mad. That's some respectable trolling.

Is there any chance of Back to Life appearing as an interlude on the record, or is that a live only thing

Can I just say the spam on that site is getting ridiculous

Just the snippets So far we the unleaked snippets we've got are Life is Beautiful Idiot Champion of the World (demo) Jupiter Weirdo (MOTS version) Kiss on the Lips The Astronaut (Coldplay version) edit - guess I can add Good Feelings 2024 Anything I'm missing?

Chris said at one point the album would probably only consist of 9 songs, but that could change. I’m guessing if that’s the case then it’ll follow the MOTS formula of having lots of interludes (Moon Music title track probably being one) Unknown songs (as mentioned by the band themselves) Moon Music - most likely an interlude Man in the Moon Weekday Miserere Angels Song 2 Aliens - leftover from MOTS Leaked/performed songs Jupiter - likely first single. Snippet has leaked Good Feelings - demo has leaked UFO - demo has leaked Robots - demo has leaked The Only One - demo has leaked One World - performed live Unlikely to make the album (but still a distant possibility) Aeterna - demo has leaked A Wave - demo has leaked The Astronaut (Coldplay version) - snippet has leaked Obviously there are people here who know a lot more than I do who will probably correct me on a lot of this.

A riff from The Race is being reused in Good Feelings.

What do you know about All My Love and From Earth With Love? Are they completely unheard songs or were they renamed at some point?

Suppose that would be 2 Aliens, Good Feelings and Jupiter
