  1. Thanks, will do! :)
  2. Only got the commercial, no content. What gives?
  3. HOW DO I SAVE THIS VIDEO CLIP?????:o:inquisitive:
  4. Breast. Not breasts. Where's the other one? Please. I was shocked when I moved to Pasadena from the south in 1973. The periodicals had completely naked women (where are the men???) at all the "news" kiosks. I got over it. I just think, if "they" are going to commercialize women, they need to get further along with the dudes. They have begun the process, but they need to start comparing their do-da's in public, the way they expect women to, which is where their vulnerability lies. That would be expose journalism! Let's hear the cheer, boys!!!! By the way, the girls who display their vaginas in public are known publically or privately as "trash". NOT because there is anything wrong with vaginas. But USING it for attention is just sad. No self-respect, or drunk, or stoned or ill, or whatever. Period. And though they may come to regret it, those images will remain in the public's memories. There are consequences. I am an American and what I am prudish about is violence and hardship (to the innocent: ordinary folk, the ill, children, animals, helpless or vulnerable ones). As to Gwyn's singular breast, in that photo, she looks like she is in pain, to me. She is a beautiful woman. Her post-nursing figure is beautiful, and I wish I looked that good. Go Gwyneth! (But be prudent, you see what you got here....).
  5. As we say in immigrant-imposed NC: grassy-ass!
  6. I probably cannot see them this tour: no job, no money, maybe soon, no car no house. So thanks to all the great videographers at Antwerp. FANTASTIC! Only way some of us will get to see what the concerts are like this time around. THANKS!
  7. I had no problem accessing it.
  8. Yes, yes! In quicktime or wmv NOT rar pleeeeease!
  9. And yet... from the fifties through the early seventies, the middle class American could afford to have a stay at home Mom. Now, only the top 1% of earners can do that from choice. The community was better served and peaceful. The children learned to be polite and sociable, and they seemed to learn things that got them jobs...AND they could read and write. THere is something seriously wrong going on.
  10. Rather than attacking the people and organizations adhominem, why not address the IDEAS? Seems to me, by subsidizing local farmers either directly (though cash payments), or through protectionist tariffs or through political connections---all of which have historically led to deep corruption---protectionist policies cause other harmful outcomes... I can think of a few offhand: Firstly, it punishes the poor. It causes prices to remain higher than they would be if imports from other places more efficient in production were allowed in at a freely traded price. Or it might even increase prices. In countries where people often are starving, seems a bit churlish to create an elite and give them special protection at the expense of hungry people. Secondly, it rewards the inefficient, and discourages productivity. This reduces competitiveness that would lead to cheaper products. The unfortunate people who live in these countries are victims of greedy politicians who raid the taxpayers and suck the lifeblood, ambition and thwart the creativity of their people when they are not directly murdering them. Free trade is the least of their problems. It reminds me of the stupid laws restricting sugar imports to this country in favor of US beet producers... You can't get a coke with sugar in it without going to Mexico! And a coke made with corn syrup doesn't taste good. Thank the gods that we here are not in dire straits, so I can just choose to drink something else. The politically-motivated trade restrictions between the USA and sugar-producing Cuba are indefensible, too, and in my opinion are retarding the eventual evolution of their system into something freer. In fact, the more government intervention there is in the free market, the more motivation there is for bribery and corruption (expressed here as lobbying), eventually leading to government/corporate fascism. If the politicians don't have the powere to pick winners and losers, and restrain their efforts to a rule of minimal law and justce, the free market can operate properly. Think over my comments, or not. I just felt another view needed airing.
  11. Not a good sign? Last time I saw Guy Berryman in Mexico he was wearing his wedding ring as an earring... Next I hear, he and Joanna breakk up! Gad! I hope Chris doesn't go all (early) Peter Gabriel on us!:stunned:

  15. Good question. They seem very preoccupied.
  16. How do you get a new thread going on this gig, by the way?
  17. Why no radio One interviews? I wonder: Coldplay were so eager to use BBC radio to further their career, but has Lamacq had any word from them lately, or Nick Harcourt? Word to CP: My Space will not carry your career. I say it in all loyalty and love.
  18. Death comes to us all. I just lost my beloved neighbors (husband and wife) to cancer between February, 2006 and August this year. I cannot begin to grasp what their survivng son must be going through! One is left speechless except to tell him you love him and where you perceive a need, step up to help. So sad. Chris is very blessed in the things of this life, the only life one can be sure of. These things help to buffer one from so much, but not from these fundamental things of the heart. My condolences to Chris and to Mr. Fleming's surviving family and friends.
  19. Nope. Nothing. just a blank page and on the othe rlink, data print language only. EH.
