(in my views, at least) Such as what marisa mentioned.... freudian slips. They have happened to me before. And when I stopped to really think of why I said something wrong, I came to the conclusion that I had some kind of repressed thought or another. Like dreams and how they combine/mesh with things you may be dealing with in life. I mean, some dreams i have just don't make any sense. But others are twists of my life and you just know that you are dreaming of your daily events of your life. I mean, of course the things that travel through your mind effect your every thought. And the subconcious mind tries to come out in mistakes at times because there is like, a battle between the thoughts you have and your natural intentions (i.e... "freudian slips") They are pretty interesting theories, only they really could not be proven on a scientific manner because you can't like, examine peoples thoughts! I would always pay attention during psycholgy when Freud was mentioned. It seems boring (at times) but in fact it could explain some things about what he thought the mind worked like.

ehhh. that is a peeve I hate when people smack at their foods. "munch munch! LOUDER munch!"' geeee! or when peole make loud sniffley noises when it is nice and quuite. i guess where there is a disturbance of my peace :wink:

I know what you mean. I dress real realaxed and not very girly at all. But my parents have business dinners that the family has to attend on some weekends. And the are dressy affairs. You know, like, "cute" blouse, little skirts. I have my older sis pick stuff out (i dislike shopping much!) because she is said to have up to date styles. I trust that I look okay :confused: but sometimes, i catch a glimpse when i am dressed like that...and i don't look half bad. i mean, i would not dress cutesie all the time, but it does make a difference in me. and hey, i bought a shirt that looks just like this...but it is fitted (to my body) ;) and i think it is the coolest thing! These are brave people, speaking up ... knowing their names will be known and they could possibly sent back. See people, they are willing to risk it, so that this law cannot be passed! The passion these fellow men/women are showing is really impressive and it proves a point here. I hope for the best. Look past all the protests, and imagine the US if this legislation passed! Things would be so different, long term and immediate effects would happen. People have already started their lives here. And if they had to leave, again? They would lose friends they made here. (you might even lose a friend) There really WOULD be a rupture to the economy, though many deny it. And less workers? IT would make for more jobs, but will Americans really take them, if they were here all along to begin with? I imagine companies will HAVE to start paying better wages to people/Americans so that the jobs can be filled. Because it is the illegal immigrants who were willing to take those menial payed positions. This will have an effect on companies economies. I am ready to see how it goes. I side myself with the immigrants who really are just here to make a living.
