Okay.... that is fine o fine (the important thing is that there is a thread for em) I have listened to plenty of Bright Eyes. And while I do not care much for the vocals that Conner Oberst puts out there, I Know it fits his style and the sounds of his music, that much I will shake hands with. But his vocals are a taaaad difficult for me to swallow (and by swallow I mean listen to) because they spill too much and are crooked (for lack of a better word). But really really, many lyrics to his songs have meant alot to me in their meanings and they way I have found them to fit my life. Messenger Bird Sunrise, sunset and Bowl of Oranges are a few of my personal favorites ;) what about you...next person to reply?

Okay, so last night, I could not sleep. So I was hanging off the side of my bedsie with my arm haging loosely over the side of my bed. I was reaching underneath my bed (which happens to be very scary at night) but i was. And TA DA! My hand grabs an old CD! It was 'Tidal' which I had not listened to in FOREVER. So I popped it into my player and it was a magic moment for me. I have gotten back into my swing with Fiona..and it feels so shway! :O

Yeah, I would have to say that mmmm maybe like, four years ago, I was introduced to this band and have like em ever since. I would have to say that 'Boys Don't Cry" , 'Bloodflower' and 'Disintigration' are among my favorite albums, because they have some of my favorite songs on em... just everything bout The Cure is good stuff. Vocals: one of a kind. Robert Smith's voice is very versitile, what makes it so great is that it can go high and low and he makes those great sounds affects 'Friday I'm in Love' :nice: no one does it betteR When it comes to 80's best Please feel free to discuss favorite songs, albums, events...let me know your whys and hows ;)

:laugh1: :dozey: yes, because there was no one there to pass some law to make it illegal. And I do think that immigrants need to follow the due process of legal documentation. But I strongly hold that government has made it rediculously hard for this to be done ( I don't know if you understand fully how difficult this is, Nik.) Fence? mmmmm speaking of border control.... I have seen footage of illegals trying to pass borders, and the armed officials take advantage of their postition to abuse (mostly physically) illegals. THey use brute force since really, it's one of those "if no one knows about it, no one care" deals that they have. They think they can get away with it, and so far, have gotten away with it. It's sick and this is making me depressed.
