I downloaded all their albums the other day actully and am starting to really get into them. Superman - what a tune. And Maybe Tomorrow is so good, sounds great as the credits for Crash start to roll too.

This album's gonna be weird lol, but in a good way I'm sure. Bucket For A Crown in itself is testament to that - old Russian stylee piano sound if ya get me, a la The Pianist, but with a modern feel. How exciting...

I heard someone say that Will plays 8ths on the bass, and not just in between the snare hits, surely that can't be right, that'd hurt lol.

i know C,J,G,W aint been in spotlight and media that much recently, but it seems like they haven;t stoped working at all since X&Y was released, i hope they aren't knackered lol. i really appreciate the Best of Blur album because it introduced me to one of the best bands ever in my opinion, so in that sense they rock. also it'd be also having a best of coldplay album cos i reckon every song they write is amazing lol. how can square one not be on it!

Anyone in or near Liverpool, UK want to get a band on the go? I've played drums for a few months and am really wanting to play with other people.

One word... NICE. I've never read, heard or seen Chris being arrogant at all, from what I can gather he just likes having a laugh and feels very very lucky for having the best job in the world and is constantly thanking the fans for giving him the best job in the world - see his post card on the Coldplayer - he said 'thank you for my job' again! Even when he does come across as 'arrogant' you can be sure that a week or so later he'll be apologising and saying to an interviewer "I can be a real k**b sometimes". C,J,G,W are just 4 normal, down to earth, cool, funny guys that are probably still adjusting to being not Coldplay but COLDPLAY. Regardless of what you think of X&Y, the guys admitted that they were treating the recording/writing in the early phase of the record as a 'day job' and that they'd go out for a nice meal afterwards. The cool thing is that they realised the way they were acting and set about returning to the way things were when they first met. What am I trying to say? I don't know, so I'll end by saying Chris, Jonny, Guy, Will, you rock.

anyone here wanna make sweet music with me (i play drums) in the piano-led stylee of Coldplay/Keane? I need some people to play with lol.

It could be the Mini Moog which Guy uses on a few of the tracks on X&Y, on Square One, Speed of Sound, Low, White Shadows, maybe all of them lol.

I noticed that Chris asks Guy at one point if he ok the 1st time I watched it, but just watching it again now as they're leaving the studio to go outside and say hi to fans outside Chris puts his arm round Guy and asks him again if he's ok, and then Guy just stands behind Chris, Jonny and Will while they shake hands and say hi to fans. I hope Guy was ok! I know it's years ago but still, but it's cool seeing Chris so 'intimate' with Guy putting arm round him and looking out for him.

I went to MEN Arena on Sunday to see Keane and they were absolutely, totally, incredibly, amazingly magnificent, along with Coldplay THE best live band I've seen, and a lot lot better than I imagine a lot of other bands to be (so what if I'm biased lol). Tom Chaplin has by a mile the best voice ever, in the world maybe, yet I am biased so there ya go lol. Richard the drummer waved and smiled to me, Tim rocked out on keyboards, Tom ran around the stage and up and down the ramp and gave it his all while still singing note perfect as if he were standing still. If anyone wants to hear a Keane song called Fly To me then PM me - it is one of the bets songs ever in my opinion. Tom sung a few lines of this and it was one of the highlights of the show. Am still on a high, wow.

gise_honey can you reupload your photos of you with Guy? I can't see them now, there are squares with a redc ross in them. And I didn't know Guy had his ear pierced!!! How long has he had that for??? I never noticed during X&Y's initial release and promotion etc...

This time there are postcards from Chris and Guy, a video of the guys coming out of their hotel with tonnes of fans with Politik in the background and a video of Till Kingdom Come in Argentina. Amazing :D
