  1. One of my top 3 favorite rappers with my favorite band...I can't see this as a bad thing. I think Chris is going backing vocals, perhaps in the chorus (like he did in The Streets song "Dry Your Eyes") and Coldplay is supplying the chords and music and whatnot.
  2. You could always make your own Coldplay DVD, set a release date, and sell it to yourself. That's my quick fix suggestion.
  3. Great band, and best of all they played "Killian's Red", my fav song of theirs. Guster was the headliner, and they freaking sucked. Nada played for over an hour, Guster for played for 2 hours. I would have liked the opposite, or no Guster at all. They reminded me of a christian rock band.
  4. Thank you everybody! It's not late...it's only 2 PM here in Seattle, I have 10 hours left to party, which I will be doing this evening!
  5. the topic says it all! I'm 23!!
  6. Nada Surf - Killian's Red
  7. Stereophonics - Dakota ...it never gets old and it's great on the freeway.
  8. Here it is... Angels & Airwaves - The Adventure
  9. Flordia is the only Final Four team I picked right. Had Duke, Kansas & UConn as the others...with UConn over Duke in the championship game. Always next year.
  10. I'll upload "The Adventure" tomorrow when I'm on campus and have T1 internet at my disposal.
  11. Casablanca - 10/10 Eternal Sunshine - 10/10 Lost In Translation - 10/10 Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Hitchcock version) - 7/10
  12. tom delonge (former blink 182 guitarist) has a new band called angels & airwaves. their album "we don't need to whisper" is due out in late may and the first single "the adventure" has been on the radio a bit lately. anybody hear it? i think it's really good. darker and more emotional sound much like blink's last album. i've downloaded that song and another song from the album...i like what i hear so far. always been a fan of blink and box car racer and stuff...glad he's still making solid music.
  13. certainly you must agree with me that facebook is way better than myspace. facebook is for the elite, and myspace is well...for everyone else. what say you on this topic?
  14. Actually, those links are from the old version of his website... http://www.joepurdy.com/music.html It's not wrong of me to post links to free mp3s from his own website. I'm just getting the word out.
  15. Foos are tied with Coldplay for my favorite band. I saw Foos & Weezer back in October when they came to Seattle. Best $30 I ever spent. Someday I would love to drink with Dave Grohl, cause I know he drinks Crown Royal like it's water...he's the coolest dude. I also have an ass load of b-sides and unreleased Foo songs and some live videos on my computer, pretty awesome stuff.
  16. http://www.joepurdy.com Joe Purdy is a guitar player who was born in Arkansas and has been touring in small clubs all over the USA and Europe. He sounds like a mixture of John Mayer, James Taylor, Tom Petty, and Dave Matthews. His genre is a mixture of folk, bluegrass, and alternative. His song "Wash Away" was featured on ABC's show Lost, and his songs "The City", "Suitcase", "Far Away Blues" and "I Love The Rain The Most" were featured on Grey's Anatomy. I discovered him after hearing his song on Lost and since then have had an obsession with his music. He's made 4 albums on independent labels, 2 which were unreleased and 2 that are available to buy online. His album "Only Four Seasons" is scheduled for a late April 2006 release. If you go to his main website, enter, and click on the "Music" tab at the top, you can sample every song from his previous 4 albums as well as the new album. I'm not being paid to do this, but I feel that quality artists who are unknown deserve some word-of-mouth publicity. Here are 4 songs from his independent albums in mp3 format...enjoy. Look out for Joe Purdy, I have a feeling he's going to be huge in 2006. Mary May & Bobby California Girl Come Back Down Joe Lover's Side Of Town
  17. Audioslave...I believe they're putting a new one out this year. Also, Envelopes, RHCP, Stereophonics, Joe Purdy (not listed), and The Streets.
  18. Don't root for Gonzaga.....they ALWAYS choke. They're overrated, and I live in Washington and get to see them play more than most do. I've tried to keep up with college rankings most of the year. I'm pulling for Arkansas to make the Elite Eight...they're a dangerous squad. I'll probably pick UConn or Duke to win it all, they have the experience and the coaching needed to get to the end.
  19. Stereophonics - Dakota
  20. Weezer - Pink Triangle
  21. me playing dress up on tuesday...
  22. listening to a Coldplay bootleg
  23. haha, if you've been around on the coldplay.com message boards for more than 3 months, you don't even have to ask about me and sex  girls are just pretty, mysterious, and sexual at the same time...it's an intruiging combo that i feel the need to be around. :P
  24. I'm still waiting for a girl to sing to me...."Green eyes, you're the one that I wanted to find" I have green eyes, strawberry blonde hair, and I'm left handed.....I am a rare breed.
