What I don't get is how they get any real money from these shots... I mean there are several of them all getting the same boring shot - Chris with a hood over his face getting into a car - which has been taken a million times over. I could understand why they would bother if there was a hope they would get something more 'exciting' to sell but surely they know by that Chris is never just going to come walking out of a hotel, knowing the paps are there, hugging up to Gwyneth with his kids on his shoulders. It's just not going to happen! I'm surprised they don't save their 'precious' time for something a little more newsworthy. But then again, most of the pictures they take are not newsworthy so I don't know why I'm surprised...
  2. Didn't Dave Matthews Band have a new album release out today? (off topic, I know)
  3. I think the boys like to give things away rather than make people pay a fee for the extras, even if they were willing to. They are just nice guys!! :D They would get some money from having a fan club but they don't really need the extra income and they'd have to employ people to run it, which is probably more hassle than it's worth for them! Also, I'm guessing that if some people were paying $35 to be a fan member they would feel that, as they paid, they should be the only ones getting the freebies like the free track downloads and live CD, the Christmas messages and roadie blogs etc. I think more than anything the boys wanted to give something back to everyone as a thank you for just being a fan and buying gig tickets (at least that's what they said in a recent interview about the live CD). Thinking about it, I think Chris said in a recent interview that the giving away was actually Phil's idea... he's the nice guy! :D
  4. I think you are right. Not sure which ones though.
  5. Maybe it's just me and my weird taste, but I quite like a receding hairline on a man... :P Chris shouldn't worry so much - lots of men look better as they age (which is totally unfair!... I am female, in case you were wondering). I certainly think that all the band members' looks have improved with age. But then again, this is coming from the person with a crush on receding hairlines...
  6. Wow - so refreshing that people can say nice things about Will's family and not have their head's bitten off!! :P If you do that in the Jonny thread you get made to feel like you've just admitted to worshiping Satan!!! :laugh3: :laugh3: Will is always such a sweetie. A real old school gentleman ;)
  7. Have a great show everyone! If you have twitter, keep us updated and take lots of photos! :)
  8. Great picture. I like your style :)
  9. I'm fine with leaving it. I don't mind talking about it as it doesn't upset me, but if people want to discuss other things then I'm just as happy with that. As I suggested about two pages ago, If no one wants to talk about it then just stop replying to posts about it and it will get buried in the pages. I'm only going to discuss it if people keep debating about it.
  10. Kissingbirds, no one is attacking you, just disagreeing with you. You've made some pretty strong statements about how you feel about their relationship, Chloe and about issues like marriage and engagement. If you write that stuff then you've got to expect people to reply and even to disagree. If you write it on the public board then you open yourself to be challenged. You can't then get offended if someone doesn't agree. No one is saying you can't feel the way you do or that you can't have Jonny as your escape, but you can't expect people not to reply when you give such extensive posts on the subject and comment on other people's posts about it. If you don't want people to reply, maybe it's better you voice those opinions in messages directly to people who agree or sympathize with you opinions about Chloe. Otherwise expect replies to your posts and people to disagree, because I do. As for whether she ever smiles or is nice, Jbella says she was dancing and clapping her way through the gig the other day so she can't be that miserable! If you really want I can recall several fans who have met her with Jonny and said she was nice to them... But I'm guessing that you actually don't want me to do that, so I won't.

He'll probably end up just doing it when they have shows. But I especially liked the ones from their days off when he was hanging out doing general stuff... :\
  12. That's okay - you don't need to know anything about her. Probably best you don't - more peaceful!!! :P
  13. I'd love them to be acting in one too, not just playing. But they said in an interview that they really hate doing videos and that the best thing about the puppets was not having to be in it, so I'm not holding my breath! I bet they are using all this touring as a good excuse to avoid doing a video...:P
  14. So true... he strikes me as the kind of guy who wakes up in the morning and decides one thing, only to be completely the opposite by lunchtime! :laugh3:
  15. I agree with you in part - his guitar playing and and their music is the most important thing and I am happy to discuss that above all else, as we do 99% of the time in this thread. But at the same time, I don't see why mentioning his family has to be silenced in this thread because a couple of people have irrationally decided not to like his choice of partner. Everyone is lovely about Will and Chris' families and are happy to mention them when there is nice news like a marriage or a new baby, but the Jonny fans are supposed to ignore it because a couple of people don't like it. This thread is open to everyone to discuss anything related to Jonny, as long as it is not offensive or overstepping the privacy mark (e.g. home addresses). I'm not out to pick any fights here but at the same time, I'm not going to stop posting Jonny-related news or censor what I write because a few people have crushes him. If people don't like the news, then just ignore it and it will very quickly go away and end up on another page.
  16. Haha! Hopefully by the time the next student open the book Satriani will have lost the case and disappeared back into the musical abyss and they'll be like 'who the hell is Satriani?' :D

Definitely slowing down on this twitter thing... I was expecting at least one more since last time I checked! This is typical twitter behavior - twitter-mania for the first week then the novelty wears off... Come on Guy - you can't abandon us! You never made it to number 1!
  18. I know you hate the idea of the two of them being together but I think we have to face facts that they are happy together and a family, and that's why they are engaged. I really doubt Jonny would be 'forced' into a decision like that, by Chloe or anyone. He seems happier now more than ever and has said how amazing having a family is and having them on tour with him. He sounds pretty cool with the whole family idea. Lots of people wait for several years before getting married and some people never bother. As JBella said, she's been with her fiancee since she was 15 and they are engaged for over ten years, yet I bet if you asked her she'd say their relationship means as much as it would if they had the piece of paper. Who knows why they waited. Maybe they just didn't get around to it. Or maybe having a piece of paper didn't mean that much to them before. Maybe having a baby made them reconsider. Who knows. I know that you don't like her for whatever reason, but by all accounts from people who have seen her, she seems nice and they seem happy together. I've been accused of sticking up for her all the time but I just don't see the point in being down on her - being with her is not going to change him as a guitarist or the music, and that's what ultimately counts. What makes him happy makes me happy :)
  19. Damn, that man always dresses so well...

If he did, it didn't make him self conscious, which is great. He has a really 'open' laugh, if that makes any sense. He doesn't hold back at all, which seems strange when he's usually so reserved and shy. I had braces for years and HATED smiling with my mouth open. Never quite got over it :bucktooth: :P

Jonny has a lovely smile and laugh :)
  22. No offense but if you really don't think your getting your money's worth then quite simply, don't go. They do what they do, it's their choice how they do their shows and no one's forcing you to see them live...
  23. Aww come on ladies... lets just say congrats and be happy for him! ;)

    He's such a w*ore! :laugh3:
