The Departed
Oh man, this is my favorite movie of the year. I wouldn't say brilliant or terribly original story or idea, but definitely the most entertaining and engaging movie I've seen in a long time. Alec Baldwin made me crack up every scene he was in. Scorcesse better get the goddamnit Best Director Academy Award for it, it's been long overdue for him.

Incubus
fuckin A man. A lot of people trash Morning View, its in my top ten of all time.

Incubus
Light Grenades is good, but I say (and am probably the only person who will ever say it) that Morning View is Incubus's best album, aside from A Crow Left Of The Murder. You can argue with me all you want, but Morning View is their best.

They did the exact same thing in Toronto last year when I saw 'em. It was amazing.

any lindsay lohan fans?
I thought she was real good in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls.

Best films of 2006?
For me, they would have to be..... Matchpoint, Borat, Casino Royale, and the best of the best, The Departed. And in terms of the Academy Awards, if Martin Scorcesse does not finally get the goddamn Best Director Oscar this year, I'm going to be pissed off. haha

Casino Royale
Sure, the movies Dalton were in were possibly the worst in the series, but I still think he was the best bond before Daniel Craig. Roger Moore was ok, George Lazenby was awesome in his one movie, Pierce made a joke out of Bond, so I say Timothy was best. Like I think if the character if there were a real life James Bond, he'd be like Timothy Dalton's version. That Bond was a vicious bastard who knew what needed to be done, none of that "Shaken, not stirred" crap.

I like Timothy Dalton. This movie was great.

Army of Anyone
thanks for the link! I just got the cd, man it is awesome! Surprisingly its very trippy and psychedelic. I sure hope this band ain't one album thing, it would be interesting to see where they go from here. So far I'd say "Generation" is my fave. It would be good to see them live.

Pearl Jam
I started with Lost Dogs (the B-Sides double album), but I'd recommend starting out with Ten, and then work your way forward from there. My personal favorite by Pearl Jam is Binaural.

Army of Anyone
Man this song is awesome. I'm actually seriously looking forward to this cd. Richard and the DeLeos have always had their masterpiece cd just out of reach, they've always been inches from it, this seems like that cd.

Oh dude, that would be so awesome if you could send me that. Filter were good, but like I'm glad that Rich is finally making an awesome cd with like an awesome band. The best from Filter is Take A Picture, and The Only Way Is The Wrong Way.

Army of Anyone
I dunno, I grew tired of Weiland by the end of it. I like Richard Patrick doing vocals for the bros. I think it's a really good combination. I'm glad to see that Rich is finally reaching his full potential too. He has one of the most distinctive voices in rock music. Yea Goodbye is awesome, but I can't find an MP3 anywhere! It sounds like Big Bang Baby mixed with Take A Picture to me, really good stuff.

Army of Anyone
It's the new band featuring Richard Patrick (The T-1000's bro, and singer of Filter) and The DeLeo bros. of Stone Temple Pilots. Apparently their cd is actually surprisingly good. I so did not see it coming, but after hearing some tracks, I have high hopes for it.
