Britney Spears
That's this thing called an "image". Don't assume to know Britney beacuse you saw pictures of her and an exagerated story in a tabloid. Celebrities do this kind of stuff all the time to get publicity, after all sex sells. Madonna's been doing it ever since the beginning, and yet oddly I don't see anybody bitching about her. And when it comes to a celebrity's personal life, it's none of our damn business, just like ours is none of their damn business. I think it's disgusting how people freely gossip about Britney and will even try to justify it, while if people were to gossip about us, we would feel betrayed.

Dani California and Tom Petty song?
eh, I'm not a Chili Peppers fan at all, sorry guys. Green Day have made some amazing albums though. Warning and Dookie are definitely in my favorite albums of all time category.

Silent Hill
eh, the movie pissed me off. Silent Hill 2 is the best game, it had none of that demon cult stuff, it was a psychological creepiness that game had. Yea, the rights have been sold for the Metal Gear Solid movie, I'm hoping they won't screw up. I'm working on my own screenplay for my own Metal Gear Solid movie interpretation.

X-Men 3
Exactly!. Like, Angel did absolutely nothing in the entire movie. Rogue did nothing at all. Cyclops got killed off like he was a non-important character. And the list goes on. If X-Men III was a half hour longer, I think it would been much better, but it seemed like Brett Ratner was jamming in as much as he could into as short a running time as possible. And yea, Gambit wasn't in it.

Mi:3
Hoffman was awesome as a villain but terribly underused, the same goes to Simon Pegg and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I thought the movie was kinda by-the-numbers. And the part on the highway was taken directly from True Lies. Nothing in the movie really stunned me or grabbed my attention, especially the "big plot twist" at the end.

The Da Vinci Code - whos seen it already?
I read the book and watched the movie. I gotta say, Tom Hanks was not the right choice for Robert Langdon. And the movie wasn't anything special I thought, it was kinda bland. Like twistedlogic149 said, it was definitely not the epic movie I was expecting.

X-Men 3
I dunno, I expected a lot more from this movie. I felt really let down at the end. Part 2 is by far the best out of all 3 of the movies. This one relied more on action than characters, and X-Men is most definitely a character driven universe. X-Men United built up to a massive climax, but this movie didn't deliver it.

Rate the latest movie you've seen
X-Men III - 4/10 Brett Ratner screwed the movie up.

Kurt Cobain voted as biggest rock 'n' roll hero
Considering Elvis is the first man to blend rhythm and blues with country and western, and as a result, create rock'n'roll music, I think he should be at the top of the list. Chris Martin? Give me a break.... Same goes to Liam and Noel. And I wouldn't consider Kurt Cobain a rock'n'roll hero at all, it's because of their template that mainstream rock has gone so so low. Now, I'm not saying that Kurt sucks, just that people are really blowing him out of proportion.

Lyrics you can relate to at the moment?
Pearl Jam - Life Wasted Darkness comes in waves... tell me Why invite it to stay You're one with negativity Yes, comfort is an energy But why let the sad song play? I've faced it, a life wasted I'm never going back again

Best concert other than Coldplay?
U2 was good, even if ur not a U2 fan, you still love the show. Pearl Jam back in Septermber was an in-concert force to be reckoned with. I'm going to see them again on Tuesday.
-
Tool
I'll also be sure to get tickets for them if and when they come to Toronto. I heard that Tool gives the concert to end all concerts.

Tool
I'm gonna get ready for bed and give the cd another spin, this is gonna be my 2nd time around with 10,000 Days. Man, nothing beats the first few spins of an album you've been waiting for, for a lonng time. haha. After listening to it once the whole way through, I gotta say Jambi is pretty good. After waiting for them to follow up Lateralus for years upon years, I sort of lost touch with Tool (I used to be the biggest fan I know), but now with this one, I think I'll find myeslf back into the groove with them soon. I'm gonna make sure to listen to AEnima tomorrow, my favorite Tool album.
-
Tool
Yea, I just bought 10,000 Days today, and as with everything Tool, the 1st listen had all my expectations blown away. I really respect these guys, they've matured from a young angry metal band into an introspective and artsy band. Gotta give it a few more spins, this one is a grower. OH yea, and I gotta add, the packaging is fuckin awesome!

What are you reading right now?
I'm reading the book Vengeance, the one that Munich is based on.
-
Tool
I started a thread about the band long ago, back in the day, but I can't find it so, here comes the sequal thread! Damn, it's taken them five years (again) but they are finally releasing their new album, and also on the same day as Pearl Jam too! I can't wait to hear the new stuff from these guys, they rock like no one else. Oh yea, and I'm anxious to see what kind of crazy music videos they release this time around.

Graham Coxon
Yea, if his new cd's really good, I'll pick it up for sure. I really like his song No Good Time.

Most horrible film ever?
Charlie............. haha Yes Hide And Seek was a no brainer, very little to it. What's with De Niro lately? How did he go from Raging Bull to Godsend and the Rocky and Bowinkle movie.
-
Most horrible film ever?
I disagree with that comment about Lindsay and Hillary. Lindsay has some good movies. Mean Girls, and Freaky Friday were pretty good. And you gotta remember, Hillary's aiming for a preteen audience, so what do you expect? Now for really bad movies. Aliens Vs. Predator - the cheesiest, most unorginal, brainless movie I've ever seen. Resident Evil 1 - 2 - missed the whole point of the videogames, the game was about suspense and genuine terror, not goth music, techno, and Mila Jovovich's figure. Dude Where's My Car? - stepping stone on the way to the really good and hilarious Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle.

Top 10 albums
THE BEATLES - THE WHITE ALBUM Covering every kind of music imaginable, there is not a dull track on this one, and even though it's two discs, it never gets boring. Fave Tracks - Dear Prudence, Mother Nature's Son, Long Long Long PEARL JAM - TEN Nirvana's Nevermind may have opened the doors to grunge and alternative rock, but this album stampeded and knocked down those doors for good. Fave Tracks - Evenflow, Why Go, Release THE VELVET UNDERGROUND - ....AND NICO So dark and mysterious, this album gets better with every listen. No filler, every song is worthy of analysis. Fave Tracks - Waiting For The Man, All Tomorrow's Parties, There She Goes SOUNDGARDEN - SUPERUNKNOWN 1994's finest moment musically. One of the most influential rock albums of the 90s, and one hell of a listen. Fave Tracks - My Wave, Fell On Black Days, Superunknown, Half THE VERVE - A NORTHERN SOUL Urban Hymns and Bittersweet Symphony is the song EVERYBODY knows, but this dark and brooding epic work is by far their best album. Fave Tracks - History, No Knock On My Door, Storm Clouds RADIOHEAD - OK COMPUTER When I close my eyes and listen to this, I can see the future. Fave Tracks - Subterranian Homesick Alien, Karma Police, The Tourist TOOL - LATERALUS The ultimate spiritual heavy metal experience. Good music for soul searching and contemplating things. Fave Tracks - The Grudge, Parabola, Lateralus SMASHING PUMPKINS - GISH When listening and comparing this to Mellon Collie..., you won't think much of it, but if you take it for what it is, a simple debut album, then you see how good it is. Fave Tracks - Rhinoceros, Snail, Window Paine BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - NEBRASKA As far as I'm concerned, this is Springsteen at his best, with nothing but a guitar, harmoica, and his voice. Every ballad on this album touches you emotionally. Fave Tracks - Nebraska, Masnion On The Hill, Highway Patrolman, Used Cars GREEN DAY - WARNING Their most unfairly underrated album. This is their best. It's Green Day's take on Bob Dylan, and it makes every song on this a winner. The best cd of 2000. Fave Tracks - Blood Sex and Booze, Hold On, Macey's Day Parade

Twin Peaks
hahaha fuckin a. That mystery man is one creepy bastard. "I'm at your house right now......."

The Smashing Pumpkins
Smashing Pumpkins were awesome back in the day. MACHINA is one of the worst albums I've ever heard. Too bad the Pumpkins ended on such a badddd note. But I think their debut album Gish is my favorite. It's simple, but after listening to it and not comparing it to Mellon Collie.... you see how amazing it is.
