  1. I almost always defer to Parachutes or AROBTTH, but Yellow has never appealed to me like it does to so many others. Viva la Vida
  2. I think Famous Old Painters is Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground... http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2624770#post2624770
  3. The first review of the EP says this: "[Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground] begins in standard Coldplay ballad territory with delicate guitars and mysterious lyrics. Chris sings: 'Push my bones from the highest cliff to the seas below/Swoop down from the sky and catch me like a bird of prey.' Then Indian finger drums and a swelling array of trumpets and tubas arrive to take the track off into an extraordinary place. " http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/article1915267.ece Sound familiar? Wikicoldplay says this: "On December 11, 2007 a message [from Prospekt] on Coldplay.com stated the album was in mixing stage. It revealed the use of a colliery brass band (tubes, trumpets, french horns, etc.) for the song Famous Old Painters." http://wiki.coldplaying.com/index.php/Famous_Old_Painters Additionally, to my knowledge, the two songs have never been mentioned in the same preview/tracklist. Prospekt did NOT list NMFWTTG in the lengthy, partially blacked-out tracklist. The blacked-out portions have since been uncovered, and none of those were NMFWTTG either. Also, this article http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003788558 mentions NMFWTTG (as well as many other non-album tracks) but NOT Famous Old Painters. Thoughts? Edit: There was one instance in which both tracks were listed. At the beginning of an interview with Triple M, a handwritten list of tracks appears. NMFWTTG and FOP are listed separately. :( Interview: http://www.triplem.com.au/melbourne/.../coldplay.html Legible transcription here: http://www.coldplayzone.it/articolo.asp?id=1482 Oh well, that just means more songs to hear in the future! :p
  4. I Bloom Blaum? ... That sort of fits the description. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCgF6nJwJDI]YouTube - I Bloom Blaum by Coldplay[/ame]
  5. Yep. Case in point: Lil Wayne deserved his 4 [and a half] stars. :p
  6. Shiver, no contest.
  7. Better than the original, but would've been even better to have Jay-Z throw in another verse toward the beginning.
  8. Yet another impossible choice. Trouble was the first Coldplay song I learned on piano, though.... Trouble We Never Change
  9. My favorite from AROBTTH vs. my favorite from Parachutes I'll go... Politik and Talk
  10. In My Place Life in Technicolor
  11. I'm pretty shocked myself. Don't Panic and Clocks. I mean... CLOCKS!?!?!
  12. Yeah, the more I listen to it, the more I like it. I might prefer it to LiT ii actually.
  13. And you will steal a copy and upload it here, yes? :wink3:
  14. My thoughts in bold. Yeah, a lot of that still doesn't make much sense.... :p
  15. 42 Don't Panic
  16. My order: 1. LiT ii 2. Prospekt's March 3. Glass of Water 4. Rainy Day
  17. So he wrote it on the wall the hollowest of halos is no halo at all television set in plastic f_____s and leaders saying nothing all (That could be "television said it/set in [?]... plastic figures and leaders saying nothing at all") and you chime stars in heaven align oh son, don't ask neither how full nor empty is your glass cling to the mast spend your whole living in the past going nowhere fast
  18. Yep. At least, as you said, it makes sense this time.
  19. LiT ii is fucking spine-tingling! Time came creeping Oh and time’s a loaded gun Every road is a ray of light It goes on on on Time only can lead you on Still it's such a beautiful night Oh love don’t let me go Won’t you take me where the street lights glow I can hear it coming Like a serenade of sound Now my feet won’t touch the ground Whooaaa!
  20. I've got a cramp! It's a lot harder on a laptop pad than with an actual mouse.... I'm pretty certain only 4 songs are available.
  21. Here are my estimated totals: Rainy Day: 8 Prospekt's March: 3 LiT ii: 1 Glass of Water: 0
  22. The fact that nobody's getting Now My Feet Wont' Touch the Ground makes me worry that it's Strawberry Swing (Osaka Sun Mix).
  23. I've heard LiT II, Rainy Day, and Prospekt's March Chris's voice is unbelievable in everyone of these! PM sounds a little like Weird Fishes. Rainy Day sounds a little like a song from X&Y-era with an electric guitar from Parachutes-era at the beginning... and then those incredible strings! Also LiT II says "now my feet won't touch the ground". A lot of the lyrics that appear in the cup are from b-sides, which is pretty cool.
  24. I just keep getting riddles/lyrics... I'm rubbing like a madman!
