  1. Haha, speak of the devil! :P Hey Felix! We just talked about you. Sarah, my weekend was ok, nothing special. On Friday I was watching Werder-Dortmund in a pub with some of my mates but the game was a disaster. :( Hope next week it's getting better. Then someone who's studying in Kiel will come back for a few days.
  2. Haha, sure... :sneaky: What have you done with Felix? Why isn't he online today? Are you at home or in Lübeck? Lol, I just found a funny pic of my former English teacher (the one who showed as a Japanese porno instead of a Shakespeare film) where he's standing in front of an advertising pillar in Vienna with Pamela Anderson on it and he touches her ass. :D Oh that's a good connection Kara. I need 50 minutes to reach Bremen by train and 2 hours with a car to Hamburg. Unfortunately big artists and bands never come to Bremen, except Christina Aguilera who's coming to the next show of "Wetten, Dass?!" next month. LMFAO! :D
  3. Hushpuppies - You're Gonna Say Yeah!
  4. Ah, that's why I'm so jealous that you're living near London, because every big band is performing there. How long do you need to reach central London by train? Muse will also perform in Hamburg, just a few days after your concert, but I don't have any time to see them. :( I really hope Bloc Party will do a little trip to Germany next year after the release date of their new album. Huuuhuuu Sarah! Sorry, I used your Robbie-advertising pillar. :P Hope it was ok.
  5. Well, I just found something which is more important than Robbie on that picture... Ok, I'm joking! :D
  6. Never heard of Marillion before... Are Snow Patrol still touring through Germany in February? They were already in Hamburg one or two months ago. Wanted to see them at a festival in June, but they have cancelled their performance... :dozey: I saw an advertising pillar with Morrisey in Hamburg which looked a bit like Sarah's famous and glorious "Fat Robbie" one situated at the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. She once posted it in another thread... LMFAO! :D
  7. Ahh nice! :nice: Last year there were a lot of lights with Ice Age at Oxford Street. I really can't wait to visit London again. It's always an unbelievable feeling. On Tuesday when I was in Hamburg I noticed again that I'm someone who like the life in big cities more than living in the country. Here's a picture I took today. I'm standing on the dike and as you can imagine the water which is in the background now reached the street a few days ago. Kara, when is your next concert? For me it's a crazy feeling to not have any tickets at the moment, although I still have plans to visit some the next months. :D
  8. Mark, I took some pics of the beach today, but for some unknown reasons the USB-adapter doesn't work... :veryangry: But instead I have some more pictures of London taken by my parents... Well, all these typical tourist places though... I really hope the weather will be fine in 3 weeks again. Last time I had two sunny and one rainy day and I was content with it. ;) Are there already Christmas lights at Oxford Street?
  9. Ah, jealousy. When I was young I always wanted to skate, but I wasn't good enough, so later I prefered Inline-Skating more than using a skateboard. Yeah, the floods are very bad this time. In my little city 4 people are still missing, after their cutter sank in the North Sea a few days ago. There were so many journalists here. Haven't seen it before... My parents are so in love with London. They had nice weather and visited nearly everything. They did a boat tour on the Thames, visited the Aquarium, the Millenium Eye and the Tower. One day they also saw a wedding with thousands of photographs, but they didn't know who it was.
  10. Mark, today we had another storm tide and I was shocked when I saw the beach this afternoon. Everything was destroyed... Oh Kara, so you're a skater? I didn't know it before. :) Can you also do some tricks on it?
  11. Ah Kara! :nice: I just wanted to post here in the same time! I'm excellent thanks, how are you? Had a nice weekend, although I didn't do much and weather is very bad. What have you done?
  12. Secret Machines - Lightning Blue Eyes
  13. What would you do without these different smiley sites... What are you listening to right now? You never post it here I noticed. ;) Maxïmo Park - Trial And Error

Do people around the world get their presents in the evening of December 24th like in Germany? I heard that Christmas Eve in the UK and US is on December 25th while people in the Netherlands receive their gifts already on December 6th. Is that right? :D Well, I don't have any wishes for Christmas so far but I like the fact that all family members will be here and in the last few years we also had snow on Christmas. ;) But the time before Christmas is also nice and I really enjoy it. There is a big Christmas market in Bremen every year and my friends and I always celebrate the cold days there by drinking "Glühwein", "Lumumba" etc. It's traditional to spend a lot of days there.
  15. You seem to be very bored Mark, aren't you? ;) The Rifles - Local Boy :nice:
  16. My current top 5 in no order... Coldplay (UK) Fotos (Germany) Mando Diao (Sweden) Sugarplum Fairy (Sweden) The Hives (Sweden)
  17. Hehe, at breakfast I watched MTV and they showed Mando Diao's new video. :nice: I noticed that MTV often mentioned Mando Diao since their new record came out. Well, but this is how a day has to start... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeTFrHtqHwY Mando Diao - Good Morning, Herr Horst
  18. My parents who went to London one week ago took this picture. :nice: Only 19 days...
  19. Eskobar - Persona Gone Missing :nice:
  20. Teitur - Louis, Louis (Can't get it out of my head today :nice:)
  21. Happy birthday! Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Hartelijk gefeliciteerd! Grattis på födelsedagen! Bon anniversaire! ¡Feliz compleaños! Buon compleano! Well as a linguist you will know all these languages I guess! ;) Have a great evening!
  22. Tja, sometimes the truth is hard to understand Sarah... ;) Felix, I would say it's a mixture between Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand, only in German. http://www.laut.de/lautstark/cd-reviews/f/fotos/fotos/index.htm
  23. Well Klaus-Bärbel lol, it's only misplaced, so I could see them in February... ;) Haha, I guess it would be very funny! Bye the way... Kaufen kaufen kaufen kaufen! :nice: It's really an amazing album of a new band called "Fotos"! My iPod doesn't know any other songs at the moment. ;)
  24. Haha! Mia is cool! :P My friends and I toyed with the idea to go to Mia's concert in Bremen... just only to see what kind of people are going to it, but the concert has been canceled. ;)
  25. Teitur - Louis, Louis :nice:
