  1. Ophélie, no it's all natural! :) My hair is more blond I guess! It's coming from my mum while my brother got the hair colour of my dad lol... Ähm... I think it's a Tom Tailor polo but I'm not quite sure! ;) Thanks! Congrats Saiqa! :) The hats were a present when we entered the stadium area. ;)
  2. Hehe, well he looks very different to me! I'm 12 minutes older... ^^ This is me (on the left), my mother and my brother in front of the Olympic Stadium of Berlin... ;)
  3. Indeed! I like them! :) Sugarplum Fairy - Far Away From Man
  4. My twin-brother is learning Dutch since a year! He likes it! :D Nice, that would be great Steph! Then, you have to tell me how the performance was... :nice: Hey Flo!
  5. Clueso - Chicago (again :nice:)
  6. Hehe Ophélie, Dutch and German are sooo similar! I automatically understand everything in Dutch! :) But I can't write it... :D IMO Dutch is more a mixture between English and German, but the pronounciation is more difficult than German. Nice to hear Steph! They will perform in the Garage! Do you know it? Wir sind Helden also performed there last year. :)
  7. When will your study begin? :) I think you'll not know them.. They're called "Tomte" and they're a indie/rock band from Hamburg! I saw them last weekend at the Hurricane Festival and it was an amazing performance! The singer is very funny, similar to Chris! :D www.tomte.de
  8. Hehe, so you're the youngest Ophélie? Wow, one of my favourite German bands will perform in London on August 2nd. :stunned: :D
  9. Radiohead - High And Dry
  10. Hey Ophélie! I've just heard on TV that there's gonna be a big celebration at the Champs-Elysées tonight. :nice: I remember celebrating in Berlin in front of the Brandenburg Gate. 700.000 people were there. It was so crazy! :D Wow it's 11:10pm and it's still sooo hot here! ;)
  11. Brazil is out! :shocked2: What a big surprise! Now 4 European teams in the semi-finals, similar to 1982. ;)
  12. God, it's so beautiful Steph! :) I like your smile!
  13. Mando Diao - If I Leave You
  14. Lol my parents are in Spain since Wednesday and everything brokes down here... :dozey: yesterday at Italy-Ukraine the TV and today the pump in the pond. :D I'm planning to drive to Berlin next weekend again! Germany either will play on Saturday (place 3) or on Sunday (final). Some friends will follow me, hope it all will work! I will go back to Berlin as soon as possible! :) Hehe thanks Kara! I will not know what's going on here if we would win the World Cup! :D
  15. Thanks Steph! Yes I'm so happy about my cat! I was so worried on Wednesday and he felt so bad, but now everything is fine again! I have to mix some pills into his food, but he always noticed it, so I had to found another solution! :D I was just playing with him in the garden. :nice:
  16. Hehe nice video Kara! It really sounds interesting! Hey Steph! I'm sorry for England, but they played their best World Cup match! :) You can be proud of your squad. 1:0 France!
  17. Haha, I saw the reportage on ARD about "Rooney's uncle" a few days ago! Lol, it was all a lie! :D Hehe they mentioned Radio Bremen and Weserkurier... I often listen to Radio Bremen 4 and regularly read the Weserkurier newspaper lol.
  18. So it's Kent on your picture? :) It looks really wonderful! Can't wait to hear what's going on in your neighbourhood. :D
  19. Wow, nice picture! I remember my first trip to England! My English class and I used the ferry between Calais and Dover during the night. I noticed the big white mountains at Dover port in the morning! They looked amazing! Later we drove on the M20 from Dover to London and the landscape was so green and hilly! Your picture just reminds me of it. ;) You have to go what's going on outside your home. :)
:nice:
  21. So you have great weather in England as well? Here, it's so incredible hot today! But I really like the summer! :) My day was good! Yesterday I was celebrating Germany's victory over Argentinia! God, I've never seen my grandma crying! I can't get it out of my mind. :) I had a football tournament with my team today and it was very funny! We all played very bad, because all of us drank too much the night before. But I scored 2 goals! :smug:  We reached place 5 out of 12, I think it's ok! It was sooo hot and we had to play between 10am and 3pm. After that I spent my day at the beach again! Tomorrow we'll do another canoe tour from Brake to Bremen on the river Weser. :) And I'm planning to drive to Berlin next weekend again! I'm so in love with the city. And my cat is doing better! :) I'm so happy, although the veterinary surgeon said he will never hear as good as before! But it's normal... my cat is already 14 years old. Hm, yes many Germans think so! I also thought it before I was travelling to London in 2004. My dad told me what to do if someone would attack me. :D But now I can't wait to visit England again! ;)
  22. Larry replied to Ambergris's topic in The Lounge
Hm, for a few years I also dislike England, because I only knew the rivalry between both countries and the BBC series about World War II, but since I visited London in 2004 for my first time, I'm totally in love with that country. :nice: There are always so many prejudices in the media, but I think the majority of the people in both countries have another opinion. I never had the feeling that people hated me 'cause I'm German while I was spending some days in London. Sure, many people here hates England during World Cup, but I think it's the same with the Netherlands... It's the rivalry. For myself, I can't wait to visit England someday again. :)
  23. Culcha Candela - Give Thanks Hehe, I'm listening to reggae very often the last few weeks I just noticed... :D
  24. Hey Kara! How are you? I'm sorry England missed the semi-final! I liked both teams and penalty shot is always very exciting. :( But I hope your day before was great! :) Sorry Dave, I don't sell stuff via amazon, so I can't answer your question. :(
