It was an amazing feeling to be the hoster of the World Cup and I'm really sad that it will end on Sunday. The atmosphere was incredible and I've never seen so many German flags here since the reunion of Germany in 1990. So many people of some many countries went to Germany to celebrate together. I will never forget it and that's the reason why I will drive to Berlin on Saturday again. It's the last time that I can celebrate together with other people in front of the Brandenburg Gate... Now I'm looking forward to the EM 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. I'm sure both nations will be great hosters as well. :)

Ich kann das auch leider nicht sehen. Bin aber komischerweise nicht mehr so traurig wie noch Stunden zu vor. Hab mich einfach damit abgefunden und hatte ehrlich gesagt gestern vor dem Anpfiff schon so ein komisches Gefühl. Naja lasst die Italiener noch ein wenig feiern... Ein friedliches Völkchen und eigentlich mag ich das Land und die Leute auch sehr. July is definitely my favourite month, but not because of my birthday. I hate to become older! Unfortunately the summer vacations are very different here every year and this time they will begin at the end of July. :dozey:

Hab ich auch vorhin schon im Radio gehört... Einige Zeilen wurden auch geändert, z. B. kommt auch das Kap der Guten Hoffnung drin vor. Die Radiosender gingen mir heute morgen sowas von auf die Nerven! Überall wurde gesagt, dass wir verloren haben... Ach ne?!

Tja, besser hätte ich es auch nicht schreiben können... Ich muss zugeben, ich habe gestern nach dem Schlusspfiff bittere Tränen vergossen! Das war das erste mal seit langem, dass ich mal wieder richtig geheult habe. :( Es war einfach nicht fair! Habe mich so über die italienischen Spieler aufgeregt. Die fielen doch bei jedem Windstoß hin, allen voran Totti. :veryangry: Naja, aber letztendlich haben wir verdient verloren. Italien war leider das bessere Team und ich war vor allem von Ballack enttäuscht. Der hat im ganzen Turnier nicht wirklich gezeigt, was er wirklich kann. Aber ich bin sowas von stolz auf diese Mannschaft und auf Klinsmann. Wer hätte denn bitteschön vor der WM gedacht, dass Deutschland das Halbfinale erreicht?! Niemand! Hoffentlich macht Klinsmann als Trainer weiter. Und am Samstag werden wir uns übrigens Platz 3 sichern, davon bin ich überzeugt. :) Freuen wir uns auf eine deutschsprachige EM 2008, die nämlich in Österreich und in der Schweiz stattfindet! Dann können wir zusammen mit Angelikas Österreichern mitfiebern! ^^ Was erwartet unserem Land nach der WM? Merkels bescheuerte Mehrwertsteuererhöhung (die Bitch [sorry aber hab die Alte so gefressen!] wird noch sehen was sie davon hat), steigende Arbeitslosigkeit und die Straßen in Westdeutschland gehen noch mehr den Bach runter! Tolle Perspektive... :\ Willkommen zurück in der bitteren Realität!

Ich ertrage diesen Optimismus überhaupt nicht... bin lieber Pessimist! ;) Bin dann auch mal weg! Gleich geht's nach Oldenburg in die City! Daumen drücken und hoffentlich geht alles gut! :) Tschüß!

We've only been busking twice. The first time was, our drummer Will and myself had no money and this must have been in 1999, and we both were saying to each other, "You're really good at singing and I think we were quite talented," and he would say to me, "No, I think you're really quite talented, and you know we really could do something." So we had this great self-importance. So one day we said, "Okay, we're going to go into the middle of London because we're great at music," obviously, and we're going to set the town on fire with busking, and on a Saturday we're going to have all the kids round and we're going to make tonnes of money and we're going to fill our hats or caps. I can't remember the specific headgear. We know we're going to really make everyone's afternoon great and we went busking, and we were there for five minutes and we played Mrs Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel, and then we played, I think, something from 'The Jungle Book', and then we got moved off by the police. And we made nothing. So that's when we decided that doing covers probably was not going to - and then we realised we weren't actually as good as we thought so we went back to square one. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I read the "Bild" today and it was so ridiculous! Especially the article about England was only disgusting! :dozey: Well you can't really say that the Bild is a newspaper! For me a newspaper is a piece of paper which you can take serious, for example "Die Welt" or "Der Spiegel". Btw, if you mean a picture, than you say "Das Bild". If there are two pictures it's "Die Bilder" and the yellow press one is called "Die Bild (Zeitung)". ;)

It was about a very personal thing in the future... ;) I'm so jealous! Now you're living in a big city and you will go to London which is a bit bigger than Paris! You lucky girl! :) I personally can't wait to drive to Berlin in 4 days! I will definitely live there for a while after working.
