For me, learning English was very easy, because it's so similar to German (fish=Fisch, house=Haus, school=Schule). You also have only one article (the) instead of three in German (der,die,das). So it's much easier to learn it. I've heard that German is one of the most difficult languages worldwide, so I'm proud to speak it. :) Well, ok most of the Germans are still confused. :D In 1996 there was a new big spelling reform (daß -> dass, Schiffahrt -> Schifffahrt etc.) and some newspapers still use the old spelling reform. It's such a shame... :rolleyes: But it's not so easy for me to learn French or Spanish. They are in another language group, together with Portuguese and Latin. ;) So, words aren't similar to German words anymore.

Hi J55TTC! :) Well, The Scientist was filmed in a variety of places. They filmed scenes in Camden and Kentish Town (the shot of Chris walking down the street). The car crash scene was filmed in Farnham, Surrey, Boreham Wood or Bournewood. I've got this information from an ezine (number 6) on the official website, but the director of this video didn't know anymore where they filmed the car crash. Where do you have the information that it was recorded in Surrey?

Well, I'm still planning. It's one of a few cities I would like to visit. Prague is another city in East Europe I would like to see. :) I have to choose between this both cities. ^^ But Hungary is very nice. I saw pictures of the Balaton.

:D Ja, das Überseemuseum... Da musste ich auch schon oft rein und fand es jedes Mal sau langweilig. Rotenburg kenne ich. Dort in der Nähe in Scheeßel ist jedes Jahr im Juni das Hurricane Festival. Wenn dort dieses Jahr gute Bands auftreten, werde ich dort wohl hinfahren. :) Freu mich schon auf Mittwoch. Das Spiel wird sogar live in der ARD gezeigt. :D

Blink 182 - I Miss You

Yeah, I hope the whale will survive and coming back in the North Sea. There are always breaking news here. It's interesting! :) By the way, last week a dead whale was found ashore of the Baltic Sea in Germany. Green Peace drove this dead whale to Berlin to show it in front of the Japanese embassy. It was a kind of protest. So, this whale was the new attraction in Berlin for 2 days. ;)

Well, it was very easy. :D I went to http://www.tvtv.co.uk and searched (on the left side) for Coldplay. That's it! ;)

:) Ja alles hat seine Vor- und Nachteile. Mir ist grad total langweilig. :( Meine Eltern haben gestern eine neue Senseo Kaffee-Maschine (Philips) geschenkt bekommen. :D Irgendwie finde ich das Ding total super. Ich glaub ich werd dadurch demnächst zum Kaffee-Fan. :D Noch ein paar Mini-Dickmanns dazu und fertig ist die "tea-time".

Oh, ok! ;) Well, Budapest is one of a few cities I would like to visit for a weekend, but unfortunately I don't speak Hungarian. :/ So it wouldn't be so easy for me to order burgers at Mc Donald's. ;)

So, I just visited all TV-guides of Switzerland I've found and all sites ( except tv.search.ch ) are saying that TF1 will show the NRJ Award in Switzerland, too. So, let's hope it's true. :D

Well, http://www.tvtv.de and http://www.tf1.fr both say that the NRJ award broadcast will start at 20:50 today, so I think it's right. But maybe you'll see another TF1, because you're living in Switzerland and not in France. I don't know... :/
