..lest you purchase on import. eBays the cheapest to obtain a copy, but this really does suck, because there are a few different releases. Same tracklisting on all, but a slimlime and cardsleeve release from Holland, then a slimline w/OBI from Japan, an Aussie slimline and yet another from Taiwan. A total bitch for any collector. Same tracks, different serials.

sorry if i've missed a bit...25 pages, and much time lost, i'm afraid. any thoughts on an auction? could be done through eBay or similar. write to capitol, emi, parlaphone and BMG...if they still have anything to do w/CP...see if they'll send off any poster, extra press packs, etc... I have a few things of interest I may be able to put in the pot. a few oops, promos, possible an old US parachutes litho, etc..

I'm interested, but cant take much of a role in my public, due to my occupation. Would be happy and willing to do whatever else "behind the scenes" type stuff there'd be to do (typing, printing, etc...).

I've got a 6'X6' coldplay display up, along with framed albums by Etta James, R.E.M. and the Beatles, then fillmore's issued for Johnny Winter, the David Gray, and Shane MacGowan , then lastly the Emek Pixies skull poster and gold kraftwerk print. emek rocks.

I was hoping someone may be able to direct me to either a price guide site or book, which would contain a detailed listing of Coldplay releases; official, promos, acetates, radio promos, general memorabelia, etc... AKA: I don't need a discography, like the detailed on one this site; though nice, I really need something relaying the value of the merchandise. Basically looking for anything like the February issue of Record Collector, but with all the stuff they're missing. Trying to affix value to what I've got for insurance purposes. That's definitely the US release of Clocks. There are also two other releases with different artwork. One is the UK Clocks DVD release, with the black cover & white drawing, and the second is the most common white cover with the facial drawing. The Canadian, Austrailian and UK digipak releases share the common (white) artwork, along with the US and UK promotional releases.

OK...Go to Coldplay.com and check the news section. Apparently, they are only playing Chicago on March 30, NOT the 31st. By my empty box, its either my luck, or maybe all 31st people got tossed. Dunno.

I will, but I'm ultra fucked if they're not playing the 31st. I can't get the 30th off work, and I work nights, so I can't even speed my ass into the city after work I'll even go through ticketmaster, etc... but they gotta come on the 31st. :(

I sent an e-mail to Debs Wild at Coldplay.com asking for clarification; this was her response: "It is supposed to be saying 30th but all will be confirmed soon." Dunno what it means, but I'm hoping it translates to "Yup, they'll be in Chicago both days." :/

Anyone have further info on this? Last I heard, the 30th was the only date on the books, but it was being researched. Was a day or two ago tho...
