14-Dec-08 - London, O2 Arena - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Didn't fail me this time, which was great. Ticketmaster was absolutely shockingly bad this time round - disappointing as they don't use the useless SMS to deliver tickets.

PLEASE HELPPP!!! WHY ARE THERE NO STANDING TICKETS FOR COLDPLAY ON SALE????
Don't know. I was wondering this too.

1-Dec-08 - Birmingham, NIA - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I think I got tickets - the sites kept crashing on me. So I may have none, or I may have about 6 pairs! Anyone know what the NIA Plan is? All the tickets were offered as seating - surely there must be some standing somewhere.

Do the Crouch with Coldplay
Nope, Chris is a grecian, and always will be :D (Exeter City, sorry) But I think he prefers a bit of cricket... I haven't seen a video yet - I don't think it was shown on any of the tv coverage - someone may have videos, but you'll have to wait a bit for then to get back.

Virgin Radio & Coldplay's Set
I think he said she was crowd member of the year - that's what I heard anyway.

I didn't think he sounded too bad. He wasn't as out of key as often as normal tonight :D- What is your favourite Coldplay song today?
Politik. It's one of those kind of days...- [X&Y] World's Biggest Album For Coldplay
They thoroughly deserved it. It's highly better quality than a most of the other albums in the top 10 there, and whereas anything Mariah Carey does always sounds like everything else she does, the guys have pulled out another album where they've experimented and tried a different direction. It's things like this that remind me the world's taste in music isn't going to the dogs after all :D- Children's book by Coldplay?
    That just made me laugh, brightened up my whole afternoon!- So what Coldplay song are you currently in love with?
How You See The World at the moment. I think I've listened to it about 6 times already today, and there's plenty more hours left in the day!- Arsenal F.C.
Very much like Van Persie's goal on saturday against Blackburn. He's really settling in now, which is a relief. I though I'd come and join in the Arsenal thread. Hello :D- gday gday!
Hello! Have no idea, but it's kinda fun to keep collecting it. Fab idea I think!- Morning Everyone!
- Please help me!!
Yeah, that's true. I doubt their security would let them come out now, but never say never tho'.- Anyone ruined for life bc they were spoiled before?
First time I saw them was at a festival in 2001, so we were quite a way back, probly about 30-40 rows of people back because we didn't want to get stuck in as we were wondering between stages. At the time, that was fantastic because I'd been waiting to see them for ages and they didn't disappoint in the slightest (nor for my friend, who's a bigger fan than me) So I know you will enjoy going to see them for the first time, no matter where you are - the atmosphere will be fantastic and Coldplay fans are the best :D Next time I saw them the year after was in a venue that probly didn't hold 30-40 rows of people and we were on the barrier by Guy. Hell of a difference, and that was what completely spoiled me. It will always be my favourite gig tho'.- Old setlist request.
God, we almost did. If I'd thought it wouldn't have gotten me sacked from work I would have gone, but I had no holiday left, and people at work know me well enough, they would have guessed if I'd pulled a sickie. But we were very nearly on that train... I discovered easytoplease.net yesterday, and was very impressed, but they didn't have setlists for those three. I suppose they were the same as the ones before and after, but I just wanted to check. Thanks tho'.- Morning Everyone!
Thanks. I will definitely have fun :D- Anyone ruined for life bc they were spoiled before?
I suppose it just depends where you go, doesn't it. In another way, I've been spoilt coz I 've seen them at some really small venues, and they've definitely been the best times. When I see them now at huge arenas, it takes something away.- The Oasis Thread
Yeah, I'm going. Getting very excited now. Going for the Foos really, I'd have paid the ticket price for them on their own, but it's going to be a really good day out I think - Old setlist request.
I've been looking for setlists for a few gigs in the october tour in 2002. Can someone help. As far as I can remember, they were the same, but I'm looking for the lists for Bournemouth, Plymouth and Port Talbot. I've google searched for them, and found a fantasitc setlist site for Coldplay, but they don't have those dates. Can someone just confirmthe lists for me. Thanks loads.- Anyone ruined for life bc they were spoiled before?
Yeah, I agree. When we went to the gigs in 2002, we were there early for every one, and we ended up on the rail, or just behind it for every gig. Since then, we've been further back (and always behind people who are taller than me), and I'm always disappointed a little, not with the band, of course, but with where I'm standing. My mate, who I go to gigs with, says she's done the barrier thing, and she wants to just chill further back. I don't. I want to be at the front again...- Morning Everyone!
After all this time of following Coldplay, I thought I should actually come in and start playing in this board, and so here I am! Hello to all you other Noobs too. Looks like fun! Hello everyone :D- Barcelona 20.11.05
I arrived back in Wales yesterday from Barcelona, and I want to say it was one of the best Coldplay gigs I've been to. The fans were superb; the crowd was one of the best I've EVER seen, the band were fantastic, completely on form, and the venue was great. Barcelona is such a beautiful city, and my friend and I had so much fun. Amazing. I'll be back :) - Virgin Radio & Coldplay's Set
