  1. Oh, in fact... if you head on over to Simon's "post-pictures-of-your-room-even-though-it-could-be-kind-of-creepy" thread, you can see pictures pictures of my awesome "That's what she said" mousepad!!!! :D
  2. Oh, I know how you feel.... I'm really short. I'm 19 and I am under 5 feet tall (oh jeez I don't know how to convert that for you European people :P)... well, whether you are measuring in feet or meters, I am really really really short!!! :laugh3:
  3. There are no words to describe how much I love a good "That's what she said" joke.;)
  4. Okay, the tour of Sarah's room is about to commence! Beware, I'm a bit of a slob... :D The lovely view you are greeted with when you first enter: On the right, you have the beautiful closet, full of my many fashionable pieces of clothing: As you enter the room, there is also my sweet mini-fridge, as well as food processor, blender, and kettle on the right: As we continue on the right, we have my extremely messy bookshelf/ pantry area, which write now contains several laundry baskets full of clean clothes which i have yet to put away, as well as game boards I made for my students tomrrow: Now, as we keep moving, we come to my desk which is pretty much covered in old pieces of paper that I really should throw away. Notice the Halloween Oreos, which are DELICIOUS!!! A closer view of my desk, because I know you are dying to see it: Here's another close-up, this time of this amazing drawing of our favorite band my best friend drew for me. I think it's hysterical: Now, to the bed area.... this is where it gets exciting!!! :laugh3: My bed is under the window, which I love. :) And some of my many posters: And you thought that was all! Hahaha, no, this is a special bonus edition of the tour of my room! You get to see my roommate's side as well, you lucky people! Warning: it's just as messy as mine, if not worse. She happens to be a really big fan of the band Hanson... if you don't remember them then clearly you lived under a rock in 1997. :P Well, that's the tour! Hope you enjoyed... maybe next time I'll go around my dorm and take pictures of the kitchens and lounge and stuff.... very exciting! :D
  5. This is cool.... I'll have some pictures of my room up in a little bit!
  6. So the other night I had a dream that somehow I was able to get my hands on the EP coming out in December, but I couldn't tell anyone I had it. It was sort of upsetting, because I reeeallllyyyy wanted to come on here and tell everyone about it, but I wasn't allowed! And it was weird, because all the tracks on it ended up being ones that we hadn't heard anything about- no Lunar or Prospekt's March or anything.
  7. I don't remember the words exactly but I whined to my roommate about not letting me go to sleep. She's making me stay up late and do homework with her!
  8. Hahaha. Okay, so who here has enough free time to stand outside of NBC 24/7 for the next few weeks? Or we could take it in shifts... :laugh3:
  9. omg lets start an official petition for Laser Cats IV featuring Chris Martin. It needs to happen. We could get someone to stand outside of the NBC building long enough to catch Andy going in/out and BEG him for another installment. Totally worth it.
  10. Damnnn, Gossip Girl was good tonight! :P
  11. I have to agree: the thought of Andy Samberg and the Coldplay boys together in one sketch (pleeeaseee say a Digital Short... can anyone say "Iran So Far"???) is too much for my little brain to handle! :P
  12. Hmm... well, I signed up for that mailing list several years ago, I don't think it was a Messenger. I don't know why they sent it out that way and not on Messenger though, that doesn't really make much sense. Oh well, don't worry, it's not like there's anything in the emails that isn't posted on here less than 30 seconds afterward. :laugh3:
  13. Dude, I freaking want a VIVA plane!!! My birthday's coming up.... anyone? :P
  14. Well the email I got about it this morning came from the official Coldplay.com mailing list... so I'm pretty sure it's legit. Also, I'm sure that by "adult" they mean 18 or older. Good luck! Take some pictures for me if you get to go! :)
  15. You would probably have a better shot if you put down her addresss.... would she really mind? :laugh3: I mean, it's Coldplay, for crying out loud! :D
  16. Aw, I'm sorry, I know how awful that must feel! I'm feeling similarly, as there are a few NY-area shows coming up in October that I would DEFINITELY be going to if I wasn't so far away up at school! :(
  17. So I have an assignment this week for my Shakespeare class in which I have to write a letter to a friend who hates reading Shakespeare, telling him/her why the plays are great and worth reading. As someone who likes reading Shakespeare only moderately, I can only come up with a few things. Any advice?
  18. If you think you can get to NY by the 22nd, you should definitely give it a shot anyway! It can't hurt to try. :)
  19. Ugh, I know! If i knew for sure I would be able to get a ticket, I would drive down from school to be there without a second thought!
  20. Aww, today is such an exciting day for us NY area Coldplay fans!
  21. To get tickets to SNL, you sign up for a lottery before the season starts. If you get picked, you are randomly assigned a show to go to. So you can't request to see a specific host or musical guest. In other words, the tickets for that show are already given out to people who may or may not want to see John Hamm and Coldplay. :( You could definitely try for the standby line on the day of the show (which would be to fill in the extra spaces of people with tickets who don't show and whatnot), but supposedly there's not a lot of luck with that, and sometimes they don't take in any people off the standby line. Of course, for Coldplay, it is worth a try! :D
  22. Wow, Chavi, I just got mine from you! Thanks! That was amazing! :D
  23. I'm sure you will find a way to go (even if you don't win... hahaha)... it's that important to you. I really can't come home because I definitely can't miss my Wednesday classes and it's about an 8 hr drive each way. They really need to come to Rochester or something right now! Aaah!!!
  24. Still so sad. And I will be home like a week before that! Ugh! Stupid school. Oh well, I hope Christa and all the NY area Coldplayers can get to go and have an amazing time!!!
  25. I'm sure you can find a number of people on here who would be totally willing to go with you! (except not me since I'll be so far awaaaayyyyy :( )
