  1. 1. Viva La Vida 2.Til Kingdom Come 3. Yellow 4. Green Eyes 5. Politik 6. Speed of Sound 7. Clocks 8. Fix You 9. Trouble 10. Square One I'm not sure this is really a very accurate reflection of my listening habits, however, since a lot of those songs are tied and quite often I listen to the CDs on my CD player rather than through iTunes.
  2. I just went to go get some dinner in one of the dining halls on my campus, and they were playing AROBTTH. At first I thought it could have just been the radio, because The Scientist was playing, but then Daylight came on next!! I started singing along (obviously) but my friends clearly thought I was crazy because they music was pretty low and they couldn't hear it. I guess it was just my insane Coldplay radar kicking in. :)
  3. Ohh yay, I'm so happy people are doing this! The ones Nick sent me from Hartford are looking lovely on my wall. :)
  4. Hmmm.... today.... The World Turned Upside Down. But I'm sure that will change tomorrow... or in like 5 minutes (depending on what comes on my shuffle next! :D)
  5. Aww, too bad the bidding will definitely go up way higher than I can afford. But more importantly, did anyone look at the pictures posted with it?? Specificially, the note from Phil that comes with it! That is absolutely, without a doubt, Prospekt's handwriting. I know that that has already been discussed on here, but at least this is even more proof! :)
  6. I don't know if I could pick one (or even just a few, for that matter)... I'll have to come back to this topic though. Every time someone names one of their favorites, I'm like, "oooh yeah, that's a really good one!" Hahaha. :D
  7. Add my name to the list. :) Also, what about Shiver? Now that one I would absolutely LOVEEE to hear live!
  8. Actually, if they're the ones I'm thinking about, they actually sell them at the shows! They're made by people somewhere in Africa I think, and a good percentage (if not all) of the proceeds from them go to charity!
  9. There's a guy on the ski team for a college that I race against who looks eerily similar to Chris. He's also a pretty good racer. ;)
  10. That is the greatest thing I've ever heard. Hahahaha! Though if it were me, I would have totally lost it and probably would have also forgotten along with everyone else the difference between liquids and solids. But yeah, along those lines, one of my professors this semester had us fill out a little sheet with information about ourselves, and one of the questions asked what our favorite band/music was. I, obviously, just answered "COLDPLAY!!!" The next time we had class she mentioned to me that I was the only one in the class who definitively answered that question by putting down one band or artist. And then I guess she started picking up on my Viva bag I got at one of the shows this summer that I use for my books for class and the Coldplay t-shirts I tend to wear quite often, because yesterday when she picked me to stand up in front of the class to give a presentation, she was like, "Come on, you can advertise Coldplay!" How could I say no to that? :D In other news, the bread I was eating for the last 5 minutes as I typed this is stale. I just realized. Oops. :inquisitive:
  11. I think I've found my Halloween costume for this year... :laugh3:
  12. Nope, but my roommate is! Hahaha. Do you have any completely strange and/or irrational fears?
  13. I have to say, in regards to the Hanson reference on the last page: my roommate is a HUGE fan of them even today, and I actually went with her to see them last Decemeber. Their music has actually grown up with them, and they are pretty good. Also, they themselves have definitely grown up pretty nicely ;) See? They don't look like girls anymore! :laugh3:
  14. Mmm yes, I did see 90210! I liked it, though recently I've been getting into the original series in reruns, and I think I definitely like that better. Gossip Girl is beginning to fill the void in my heart that The OC left behind, though I don't think anything will ever replace that show. Hahaha.
  15. Here's me this past weekend: We were at a park in upstate NY where there was an awesome gorge for swimming in. It was so much fun!
  16. ^ Your signature is very silly and I absolutely love it. :D
  17. I think I've definitely told this story before, but I don't mind telling it again: I was watching the Grammys and happened to see them perform Politik with the New York Philharmonic. I don't really know exactly what it was, but something about that performance was so passionate and intense that it really stuck with me. The next day I went out and bought AROBTTH. And then things just escalated to an absolutely absurd degree from there. :P I'm sure many people here can relate to that. :laugh3:
  18. Guys, following this thread all day has really been great, not to mention hilarious. I didn't get to post much because I was in and out of class all day, but I read pretty much the whole thing. Yeah, maybe I was a bit creepy today. :P I really hope they do another live blog so I can have another very interesting thread to read in between classes. :D
  19. Hmmm..... well, I guess so! :P I'll take him Mondays and Wednesdays, you can have him Tuesdays and Thursdays. And we can alternate weekends between us. :laugh3: Figuring out holidays might get a bit tricky though...
  20. Aww. I agree that the picture would be better if it were taken from a slightly different angle. ;) But how cute are his glasses?? :P
  21. Hahaha! Thanks! Johnny is by far my favorite character. "The tower? Rapunzel! Rapunzel!"
  22. I also say go for the DAAHF shirt. I really wanted to buy that one at the last show I was at, but I ran out of money buying all kinds of other stuff. Haha. Oops!
  23. I think this is my all-time favorite movie. Every time I see a new comedy, I try and compare it to Airplane in my head and nothing can ever top it.
  24. Mmmmmm I love Gossip Girl! And I'm not afraid to admit it either... hahaha. I especially love all the beautiful boys on that show (mostly Chuck and Nate and Dan a little less). Hahaha. I just can't resist a good soap opera. :D
