Just watched he interview as I was part of the audience outside, and we couldn't get in he studio, it was hilarious and love Fiiorello for making them come to Italy, it seemed they enjoyed the weirdness of it as well :) Before the show started they played a few songs for us: Yellow, Clocks, Every Teardrop, Fix You and Viva la Vida only piano and drums because we started singing the oohhhs. It has been a nightmare to find a way to be there, I really don't like how they chose the audience, most of them didn't even sing yellow and clocks but went nuts for etiaw and paradise, what the hell. But I was impressed as someone (who was not me) yelled them to play Shiver :awesome:

I'm trying to keep my mouth shut for now, will probably tell more after all of this ends. All I know is that their apperance seems to be a big deal here especially since the tv show is huge and they'll be playing in a setting not any band can, but we're not SNL, and I don't expect any tweet about it, of course happy to be wrong.

they weren't there, all the other guests were, Michael Bublè included. They'll play early on though, and that's all I'm gonna say, don't want to spoil everything. As far as I know there's no chance to get inside if you don't have an invite, but there'll be for sure fans waiting for them at one of the entrances (not the main one) Oh and for the change of date it's not Rai's fault (yeah I asked), so if you want to get mad as someone look in the band's mgmt direction....

sorry that is the only one I know :/ I'll be going to the show rehearsal today, not sure if the band's gonna be there with the rest of the guests, I guess I'll see once there. Tomorrow they might playing in one of Cinecittà movie sets and not the studio itself where the show takes place :)

Yes it is, we were expressing the disappointment about it being impossible to get in the studio, and that we can only wait for them outside Cinecittà (where the studio is, it's the Italian version of Hollywood Studios, where Fellini directed a lot of his movies) because they will probably arrive in the afternoon and go back to London right after the end of the show. I'm going to Rome today, I'll try to tweet if anything happens :nice: Also Ian can you check if you can see here (under the "Dirette TV" clicking on the box Rai1)? It's Rai1 streaming, but I'm not sure people outside of Italy can see it. If you can, the show starts at 9pm CET :)

Might be an old interview, they were announced for the last show also during the press conference last week, don't know when the date was changed, pity is that all the people who wanted to be part of the audience were waiting for the twitter competition for the last show, so everyone missed on this...there won't be any fan there, hope the audience won't suck :\ e non so neanche perchè sto scrivendo in inglese in un topic che interessa solo a noi italiani :| wait, can you people see something on this link? (you might need to install Microsoft Silverlight), cause here in Italy you can watch the channel on the Rai website as well, but I'm not sure if it's working in the other countries.

Yeah, if I had an iPad...but I'm not gonna spend at least 500€ just for this app, as cool as it seems to be. The Banana song is the one they played in Graz, I wanna listen to them so I can understand which others they played that day, it seems they're gonna make the album availabe in a more common way soon, so I guess us iPad-deprived have to wait a little bit more :shrug: edit: stupid question, but what's the album title? :thinking:

Sometimes I would love for english mother tongue people to think how it can be difficult for a non english mother tongue person to understand lyrics from songs (and not only those of course). It might have a sense but try to translate it in Italian for me then, it's not so straightforward at all.

They might already take the plane home, they're not gonna win anything tonight..and as other have said the peformance was quite crappy, Chris has never sung ETIAW without losing his breath half way through, and stupid mtv kept the others in the dark from beginning to end, had it been Chris alone it would have been basically the same
