  1. Such a cute photo! Thanks :) This guy got a nice video of VLV.
  2. With it being a festival it seemed people were more excited and reacted more to the songs from the last album or the most radio played ones. VLV got the biggest reaction out of all songs. It seemed like a collective orgasm... not even kidding, people went so wild. Then of course Yellow, Violet Hill, The Scientist and Fix You got people really happy and singing along too. Oh, same with Every Teardrop. A lot of people seemed to be familiar with it and the concert went out with a bang. Even though I was happy they played ENL and shiver and Politik, people around me weren't so familiar with Those. And I wish they were. That's a difference between being in a festival and a band's concert. I remember the last two Coldplay concerts here which were band's concert in a pavilion and people knew all those sings from beginning to end. Everything's Not Lost was my most memorable moment from their concert here in 2003.
  3. Hurts Like Heaven was the first and with the fireworks people were really excited during the whole thing and singing the "so cold so cold". Us Against the World, if I remember well people were reacting to it with clapping so I think the crowd was enjoying it, despite you seeing more people talking to each other during that song than any other. lol I think people loved Charlie Brown, at least in the zone I was everyone was clapping and even jumping a bit to it. MM, some people recognized it, some seemed distracted during it. In general people seemed to enjoy everything.
  4. Hi. I just arrived from the concert. It was really great, Chris sounded great, the guys did a fantastic job and it was really wild at times. I have videos and photos, but I was a bit far away, not sure how it turned out. Idk if there's anything extra I could add. Well, before Us Against the World Chris said "This song is called Us Against the World and it was written specifically for portuguese people." Which got people laughing and then he said something else but I couldn't hear it. He also said they loved Blondie and dedicated one of the songs to them. It was a really diverse crowd, sure these guys get to everyone. It was awesome to see them 5 years after!! And I was so happy they did Shiver and Everything's not Lost, I hadn't seen the setlists they have been using, so it was a nice surprise. I also loved how they did God Put a Smile Upon your Face. It was one of the best moments of the night, it really got the crowd going. I just can't wait to have them back.
  5. what about Portugal??!! They've always played here, why not now? don't get it... I hope they find a date to come.
  6. yup! that's true. At least Billie Jean was good to begin with. I would never thought I'd listen to Always Be My Baby dozens of times... but he made it possible.
  7. Yup... David Cook should win. His rendition of Billie Jean was crazy! pure amazing. The Archuletta kid has some good vocals but bores me to death. Can you imagine his concert? i'd fall asleep. I'm almost sure Syasha is the next one to go
  8. Here in Portugal the song and the album are #1. And then there's another Coldplay song at the top 10... Shiver (is #9)... VH is #11 And X&Y is #10 album
  9. A Rush of Blood to the Head
  10. Viva La Vida can't get enough of it.
  11. I like it a lot. I tjink it's a really great song. Love the different sounds, love Chris voice, love the lyrics. It's awesome
  12. I'm also not getting the e-mail. Does it take too long?
  13. going to see them in June. so orgasmic.
  14. Nice. I like him. Hounted Home is such a dark song
  15. The Hardest Part this morning
  16. I disagree with you. If you look at Europe or Canada, or Australia... you'll see that in those places there's a more restrict law on the subject and there isn't as much gun violence as there is in USA. So I believe if something changed in US law maybe less children/teenagers would go to schools and Univs and shoot their collegues and teachers.
  17. i think that's false. if it was true i'm sure they'd have make some pub already here in portugal. some of those bands are already confirmed. But the Coldplay part (and others)... i bet it's false. Actually, i'm not seeing Bon Jovi there and he has been confirmed.
  18. who are the 2 who voted City of Delusion??! :P That's my fav song
  19. Cat Power is very good. I'd rather have some good covers than some bad news songs.
  20. Knights of Cydonia it kills me cause I love it.. but I listen to the others a lot more.
  21. he was announced to be in Portugal this last summer but it was cancelled... :( can't wait for another date! His shows must be really fun!
