Steph, I think Ive said a few things to you already, but anyway, I can relate to what you're saying! I passed in Nov 04, so Ive been driving over a year now, but I still get scared sometimes when Im in busy traffic etc, under pressure, hard turnings (like right out of a junction across a busy road (eeek!!) After I had first passed, it dawned on me that Im gonna have to go out on my own, I was pretty damn scared!! The main thing was that Id learned in a nice new car and then I had to drive my mums car which is quite older and does not have power steering, it was a bit of a struggle at first. Things like parallel parking are still tricky but Ive got used to the steering! Ive stalled it a couple of times, but everyone does it. Just dont take any notice of other people if they hoot or whatever, Ive had that lol!!!! All I can say is that you shouldnt give up... just keep going, even though it's real scary. I felt worried to begin with, but now after making myself do it to begin with, its a whole lot better. Im totally sure that in a few months you'll be fine :nice:
