  1. unlike Spurs who were there last February and won there. :smug: me and Jonny. yup I'd go to WHL with him any day. :sneaky: Jen... if you want to drive and get a train, you could always go to one of the towns on the line of the train.... several small towns like Denham or Gerrard's Cross are near the M25, on the same train line to Wembley and I'm sure there's somewhere free to park in these places. I go past them on the train. easy!
  2. Me too :nice: I really hate them. I got hit in the face by someone's foot when I went to see Bloc Party in September. I think it's really irresponsible. I really don't mind people moshing, jumping, going crazy and dancing but when some stupid heavy bloke is crawling over the top of people's heads and shoulders, it's plain stupid and dangerous. I hate them. and because at a lot of gigs I go to, I go at the front, you get the big fat smelly security guards in your face trying to drag these idiots away. Ruins some of the best songs...like Helicopter by Bloc. They should be thrown out.
  3. is that from the Brick Lane gig perchance?
  4. aww.. I hope you had a nice birthday in the end... :) I'm glad Holland was good! I stayed at home, three friends came around, we watched Spiderman for some reason, laughed at Norman Osborn, watched the London fireworks on the tv and played some boardgames... we were going to drink but couldn't be bothered in the end! haha :uhoh:

  7. Aww!! They look all jolly... I wanna party with them! :santa2: I like the one of Chris tipping his hat, hehe. ps. HAPPY CHRIS-MASSSSS EVERYONE!
  8. Guy's bassline is absolutely awesome in this....I crank up the bass when I play it
  9. I use a digital SLR camera, and thank you very much!! :) No, I actually took the underground photo nearly 2 years ago, with my mobile phone camera and no flash! :o Yeah, they get angry about it, apparently it's because they drive through the dark and out into the light and the flash could hurt their eyes or something :/ I'm sure your postcard is nice! :)
  10. Thalia, yours is soooooooooooooo funny, they will love it! :D  I just finished and sent my ones.... here's a pic.... I used my own photos on them... The top photo is the Royal Pavilion in Brighton (my hometown) and then the pic below is obviously the London underground, cause for uni I live near London. The other postcard has my own photographs, and I'll let you work it out what they 'mean'. :nice:
  11. If you go to London, don't bother with the London Dungeons, overpriced, and queues. I would suggest maybe the area near Covent Garden, theres some nice streets with little individual shops... perhaps the area near Camden Town. Im kinda bored with London recently, need to find some new places in it  oh... go on the London Eye at night...it's boring during the day :p If staying in London, I really would suggest getting the 50min train ride to Brighton...it's a great city for people to visit the South coast, the Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion, not to mention so many streets of cool alternative shops and cafes and bars :D
  12. Jonny's guitar looks like it has bakewell tarts painted on it :nice: *leaves the thread*
  13. I'm making mine at the moment :) hopefully to send tomorrow morning now... Everyone's are so great :nice:
  14. My avatar is the one I had at the very beginning :) I've had a few different ones since.... but this is the one I had to start with :nice: I rummaged around in my photobucket account, found a signature I had at the beginning http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v301/crazyduckette/?action=view&current=karasbanner2.jpg :santa: and my Jonny the cowboy signature....hahahah :) I didnt visit it a lot but if anyone ever remembered back on the official board I used this as a pic http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/crazyduckette/duckie.gif

for my last uni project, I was making dreams into short animations..... and I used someone's dream from here, about ballet shoes chasing them around :) Last dream I had, I was balancing precariously on some strange Mediterranean looking tiled roofs, about to go canoeing. :shifty: and I fell off the roof..... it was one of those dreams where it really feels like you're falling.
  16. I can't see your photo Chavi :/ Been a while so here's a silly photo of me, :p, taken in uni... http://photos-a.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-snc1/v1498/244/23/520775127/n520775127_5153640_3716.jpg dancing, or jumping...I dunno...
  17. I have to agree completely with you Mark, the seating has been a completely stupid idea. On both occasions I saw the band this UK leg, it's been a bit marred by the people I've been sitting around. I got a filthy look from a woman one but next to me when I jumped up and down during Politik. but when the butterflies started falling she rubbed her hands with glee and told the man next to her she was taking as many as she could. People all around me looked like they couldn't give a toss that they were there, and it disappointed me so much. I knew that people like Mariana in Sheffield was sitting at the back of the arena and she would have appreciated the seat next to me so much more than this stupid woman. Im so glad that Wembley is standing, it will be amazing.
  18. Ah cool...what year are you in? Im nearly done with uni.. very scared thinking about jobs. No, it's not Chris Martin...it's my brother, you were right :)
  19. You might know it, but I doubt it... it's called Bucks New Uni, in Buckinghamshire, surprisingly. I do graphic design. What are you doing? I could never remember if you were from Ukraine, or not, haha. or in England :uhoh:
  20. haha. well....ya know, they are just two random guys I saw on the street in my picture. I'm from a town near London and yes, at uni. You?
  21. congrats on 1000 posts Frozen entertainment :D Mince pie? I ate a bar of milka chocolate for breakfast... not good. but its all I have in my house :s
  22. The area around Wembley is boring :p When you get inside, thats the best bit :)
