  1. Saw them last night.....really great show. They do epic songs sooo so well! Awesome. :nice: I loved hearing Manhattan for the first time, and damn those boys are fine as well :p
  2. Oh man!!! Green Eyes! Wish I could have been there!!!!
  3. Like everyone says, not what I expected...but it's nice... not amazing, but nice. :)
  4. LOL Angie... Yesterday I was quite a little way from the stage, but as Chris walked back up the runway the tightness of trews was unmistakable!! :o
  5. YEAHHH! haha xD Oh I looove that song..I was the only one getting down to it yesterday, guy sitting next to me looked like I was crazy.
  6. I don't think so.... but if I remember rightly, it has lots of little holes that the blades of grass were poking through.. not the same though!
  7. Haha, I will have left my uni house by then!!! It is tooooooooo farrrr away....... I wish it was June!!! Like when Muse was!
  8. I live on a stop on the train line that goes past Wembley, its the last stop before London Marylebone, and its so cool thinking whats gonna go down there. I went past it yesterday and was like
  9. Thanks guys!! That was beautiful Mich.....some of my FAAAVE pics there. :nice:  OMG ITS HITTING ME ABOUT WEMBLEY... I never really thought that there would ever be a gig that so many people from here would get to... AHHHHHHH!
  10. I saw him at Glasto, it was a great show :nice: It helps that I know and like about 7 or 8 of his songs, but I think most people will enjoy him regardless of knowing his stuff.... he puts on a really entertaining show, and he also samples a lot of other well known music inbetween his songs and stuff.... :)
  11. they are sold out! but there is a way to buy standing tickets if you pay a bit extra....... ....from See Tickets, they are selling General Admission (standing) but with a coach journey to Wembley Stadium from various cities around the country... maybe you could do it that way? http://www.seetickets.com/see/event.asp?e%7Cartist=COLDPLAY&filler1=see&filler2=home&dateonsalefrom=28/11/2008 [coldplay ticket and coach ticket]
  12. As long as you get 'standing', 'pitch standing' or 'general admission' tickets you should be fine. I think they just give them different names on some tickets sites, annoying.
  13. It says pitch, because Wembley is usually a football pitch..... they just put plastic flooring over the top of it for everyone to stand on. Its just normal standing :)
  14. Yeah, I live pretty near Wembley. and been to two major gigs there...primarily the Muse one.... So, the queues are made the other side of this concourse/path that goes all the way around the stadium. The people there were ready for people waiting I think, and it was organised. They set up some barriers., not sure what time this was, but Im sure that they will be ready for people queuing overnight. I'm sure that there are toilets on the outside of the stadium that they keep open for the people waiting in the queue. If not, there is a street and some shops/pubs, also a mcdonalds about just under a mile's walk away. Also another thing to keep in mind, is that on the tickets, they have two different entrances I think. Mine was entrance B, and I think the other one was 'F' or something. So, when running for the front, there will be another queue also running I think. :\ but maybe everyone from here might be spread between the two queues :D
  15. Hey I need to post my 8000th post in this thread, help me celebrate, lol. wooooooo Yay
  16. Well... I already know that people have camped over night there for the Muse gig last year and nobody moves you on. They don't do anything to kick you out, they know that people are crazy big fans and will queue overnight. For Muse, the first people apparently got there the previous afternoon.. me, I was there (for Muse) about 3 hours before the doors opened, and it was not enough time, I didn't even get into the Golden circle area. So yeah. It's going to be tough, I warn you that now!!
  17. Oh yeah, I forgot about the spot thing! He was on the piano in front.... and said "Ive got a spot the size of the Isle of Wight!!!!" awwwww  The voices in the backgrounds of the videos are too funny! Damn I wish my camera wasn't so dodgy...I could have got some good vids like Brixton :/
  18. Im sorry to hear about that...sucks. This is why standing is better!! because people who are passionate about the band can all have a great time together singing along at the front, while people who are less inclined to sing and stuff can stand further back! It's annoying :/ but I didnt care about people throwing looks my way for singing Jay Z 'Give it to Me' LOOOOL so here is the ultimate shitty phone recording..... of Chinese Sleep Chant http://www.zshare.net/download/52066654142ff974/ that scream at the beginning isnt me  I agree Trouble was a definite highlight!!   woooohooo! Awww I forgot the Spanish people, with their vodka and their ham and bread, and little knife!
  19. I saw this nice young man this evening :nice:
  20. Back!! That was a crazy car ride home, haha... lots of very loud music, fog, and tiredness  thanks to Jen for my ticket :nice: It was in Block C, Row 22... good view for the Trouble/Postcards/GPASUYF and Talk  So cool to finally meet Maaaaarrrrri  It felt strange to be behind rows and rows of people who did nothing and didnt sing for most songs.... but hey. I musn't be downbeat! The most amazing moment for me had to be when I pulled out all the stops dancing to Politik in these said rows of quietness...... twas a beautiful moment!! I also loved it when Chris decided to not play the Hardest Part and play Trouble instead...wahey!!!! I took a few music clips here and there with my mobile phone, but unfortunately my proper camera is kinda broken, so I don't have any photos or videos :disappointed: Sorry :( It was a good night! and I think the boys really enjoyed it too, I could see them having a smile and laugh a lot of the time. I just wish they threw in a few more oldies :nice: or a few of the new Prospekt's March stuff. Maybe in time........ EDIT: my only crappy photo...Im sorry it's so bad: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/crazyduckette/DSC00558.jpg ooh well!!! need to buy a new camera or something. This one is from my phone, and zoomed in = rubbish. Shows you where I was though :)
  21. When I went there for Muse, apparently the first people in line had waited over night and the previous afternoon as well :stunned:
  22. I'm happy for you! :) I remember the Brixton troubles :disappointed:
  23. Me too!! :nice: :nice: :nice:  I'm excited... this is a big gig...they have to pull out some old stuff as well.. I HOPE!!!! are you listening boys?!!?
